Welcome to Smokey Acres!
This property has been in my family for decades. My Husband and I were married under the oaks and have had our share of campfires out there.
Down a hidden gravel drive with wetlands on either side you will find a completely fenced in field surrounded by pine, oak, and swamp maple trees. There are two ponds located on the property both stocked with bass, bluegill, and sunfish. The front pond is home to many natural Florida wildlife and is a great location to bird watch.
Located a few miles from Brooksville and the Suncoast Parkway, this quiet and peaceful setting is just 5 minutes from the parking area and trailhead for the Suncoast Trail and 10 miles from the famous Weeki Wachee Springs, where you can spend the day at the local park or float down the river with the manatees.
Withlacoochee State Park and other natural preserves with trail access and kayaking are only a short distance away, and Dames Cave, Homosassa Springs, and Chasawiska Springs are all within a ~20-minute drive as well. Spending a day at the beach is easy with plenty of options along the Nature Coast. We’re also less than an hour from Tampa and Clearwater and two hours from Orlando.
A perfect weekend get-away for anyone looking to “unplug,” Smokey Acres is also a great stop for those passing through the area. We are a close distance to many racing, livestock, boating and fishing events. We have no problem accommodating whatever you’re towing!
Whether you'd like a leisurely day on the river or an adventure in the Gulf, there are plenty of boating options nearby. Be sure to make it back to the property in time to enjoy amazing sunsets that bring peace and tranquility to your experience.
Our neighbors, JG Ranch, offers U- Pick Fruit and Vegetables or a great selection of local harvest at their roadside stand.

I've recently moved back home with my own family and as much as we enjoy the land for ourselves we'd love to share it. Any profit from hosting campers will help us maintain our sustainable farm that we're hoping to expand onto Smokey Acres. Just in! Our dirt road has been repaved. So no worries about a bumpy drive in!

I loved it there! So quiet and peaceful. The camp ground is nostalgic and small. The bathroom and shower could use some help (to be honest), but the running water by the cabin seems to be well-water, cold, and very fresh. A quick well-water shower behind the cabin was refreshing and lovely. Centrally located to lots of area hiking and things to do. Historic Brooksville was adorable and I highly recommend having brunch at the Lazy Maid Creperie, voted #1 restaurant in Brooksville. I would definitely come back to this camp ground and utilize the cabin again. I also liked the primitive camp sites and only a short walk from parking. My entire experience was two thumbs up.

Was a lovely stay at the Olive Grove! So friendly and was such a comfortable stay. Loved the little Aframe cabin and the fire pit beside. Location was close to anything you need. Watching the chickens and ducks run around was fun of course. Make sure to check out the little store for olive oils, vinegars, etc!

The cabin tent was fun.
The gift bag with fresh eggs, olive oil and soap was a very nice extra.
I recommend arriving before sunset because finding our accommodations in the dark was very confusing. However I called the host and she came out and guided us all the way.

Everything went well it was a very peaceful place. It was clean it was cute my only suggestion is is maybe bring something that pads the pull out bed they have in there but other than that everything else was perfect. Thank you so much for the space
Star wars were fine bathroom was fine I had a couple of campfires it was just quiet and peaceful and I had massive alone time and I loved it. Mini fridge worked and AC probably worked but I never had to turn it on I just used the fan because it was cool evenings and it was a great base for me to stay in order to go fishing or out somewhere sleep late lay there or just listen to the sounds of the forest which I don't get to hear very often. Thank you thank you thank you so much. I'm probably going to stay again sometime.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Olive Grove! Only about 10 min away from the Weeki Wachee Springs and the mermaid shows, 5 min away to stores and restaurants, yet - we felt in the country and in the nature. The A-frame experience is one of a kind - watching the fire from the bed was phenomenal! The host was very attentive, responsive and helpful. Free gift of eggs, oil and coffee was a lovely touch. This was such a nice place, and super clean. We were definitely over packed. Deirdre's place is fully equipped with just about everything you need. Just bring your food. If you don't want to cook, there are plenty of restaurants nearby and Walmart, etc. All within a short drive. It was very hot while we were there so we didn't get to open the side but the A-frame was cool and dry with the AC running. Appreciated the welcome pack and the clean towels. Instead of coming home with a bunch of dirty dishes I washed everything before we left which makes coming home much easier.
We want to go back when the weather gets cooler so we can open the hatch and enjoy a fire and stuff.

Very private and peaceful. The mosquitos were awful so next time we’ll bring better supplies to help with that. Having access to a bathroom and firewood was a plus! The cabin was cute and the AC was a lifesaver.

With kids
My 5 year old and I spent two nights in a canin and it was just so cozy and comfortable for us. The ducks and chickens were fun to feed and entertaining for my daughter. We enjoyed the pool; it was refreshing after a hot day out and about. The bathrooms and kitchen had all the amenities we needed, as did the cabin w a/c, a comfy bed, and even a tv (which we didn’t even use). We built a fire, made s’mores and enjoyed the beautiful olive orchard.

We stayed in the Orange blossom cabin. It was one of the most peaceful nights we've ever had.
Hillary was wonderful. She was incredibly accommodating.
We are planning to return for a longer stay.

Absolutely loved it!!!! So so cute and pretty spacious! I felt i was in my own world but there were also many families around me, so I felt very safe as well! If you’re on the taller side, though, definitely bring a mattress or cot haha other then that it was so cute! Will definitely come again!

Weekend Trip to Farm of Dreams Resort
Absolutely beautiful location. Very peaceful place to visit. The staff was absolutely wonderful, making sure we had everything we needed.
