Keaton Beach is a relaxing get away with great outdoor activities for the entire family; Boating, Fishing, Kayaking and the area is known for scalloping during the June - August months.. Additionally, you will experience the most beautiful sunsets you will. ever see in your lifetime. Cedar Island Sandpiper is a golf cart friendly community with friendly neighbors. Located halfway between Perry to the north and Steinhatchee to the south, Keaton Beach is an outpost town with a laidback, relaxing atmosphere. No motels, no fast food. The wild, natural public beach has a shaded picnic area, restrooms, a boat ramp and a 700-foot fishing pier. These are prime scalloping waters from mid to late summer, and the area is famous for year-round fishing. We recently bought this property with an old hunting cabin owned by a well known baseball coach. The cabin is currently transformed into a residence. We have 4 RV spots available in the front of the property.. Only an 8 minute drive to the sandy swimming beach of Keaton Beach (see pic above) or 20 min walking distance to Adams Sunset Beach. Stop by on your way to South Florida or up north. We do not have a maximum stay.. We have 50/30 and 15 amp sites available. 2 back it, 1 drive in, 1 pull through site. 2 sites are full hook up, 1 site 50 amp electric and water. 1 site 20 amp electric only. If you see "occupied" in the calendar we probably still have sites available. (we have a total of 4) Just contact us using a "free" day. What can you do in our area? Away Plenty of room for boat trailer. Also-country store. 2 Restaurant’s 1 will cook your catch. Pump out available at Gateway marina 5min. away charge varies. Ask for Key location for gate lock after booking. There is a garbage dump just outside of town on the way in. Shired Beach 30 min away. Thru the main line trail and nature preserve at the beginning of town. We have a fish cleaning table at the water's edge to clean your catch of the day. Bring your boat or just relax. We purchased our 3.39 acres two years ago and all that was on it was a RV and lots of pine trees, palmettos, woods and a small pond in the front of the property. Over those two years we have turned it into our little piece of heaven. We've added two more RV hookups which our son parked his camper on one. We built a fully furnished cook shed and on the back side of it we have an enclosed fish cleaning area. The cook shed also has an enclosed eating area. In addition, we build a full size bath house / laundry room for the convenience of our campers. We cleared out the back of our property and had a large fish pond dug and it is actually spring fed. We have stocked it with all kinds of fish. We have a dock that goes out to the pond and you can stand and feed the fish. If you like to fish you can catch and release. There is also a table and chairs out next to it if you want to sit and relax.Learn more about this land:Quiet 3.39 acres with a RV hookup, two ponds, a separate bathhouse/laundry room on the premises in addition to a cook shed with grills and cookers (propane included) along with fish cleaning station. We have a fire pit available to use (wood included). We're located approximately a mile from the boat ramp and Roy's restaurant where you can enjoy beautiful sunsets. Keaton Beach is just 17 miles from us which has a nice little beach and beautiful scenery.
