Nestled in the hills of idyllic Mount Washington, 5 miles from Downtown Los Angeles, this charming renovated 1968 Streamline "Empress" trailer is there perfect city hide out for your next LA adventure. The perfect size for 2, the trailer is fully equipped with all the basics you'll need for your stay.  Enjoy golden hour sunsets on the plant filled patio with an abundance of lounging options as well as a big bbq and outdoor shower!

The trailer is on the side of owner Tamarra's house and has a neighbor nearby  on the side but is otherwise very private. You will have your own entry and private outdoor patio. Mount Washington is a very quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Walk up the hill to the self realization center on a sunny afternoon. Their beautiful grounds are often open to the public to visit and are a great place to meditate. Hip and fun Highland Park neighborhood is just a quick scoot down the hill and has lots of great bars, boutiques, and restaurants. The Gold Line Metro is also located at the bottom of the hill and offers an easy and convenient way to get across town and avoid those congested LA freeways!

Tiny but mighty, this kitchen has a full size fridge as well as a microwave and a toaster oven hidden away in one of these original cabinets! 

Oven doesnt work currenly but the old fashioned stovetop will heat up just about anything! 

This lounge seating area is a great spot to work if you pop out the folding table we have stored away in the closet

Reid Ranch is located in North County less than 10 miles from the beach. You will have your own site with a private fire pit uniquely placed in the natural Granite rocks. Your experience will be one of a kind.

So many activities near by. Close to numerous breweries and great wineries. I have lived in San Diego for over 30 years so I can give recommendations to the best of what San Diego has to offer. Downtown is a 45 minute drive or you have access to the train nearby. We have 2 hold tubs that can be added on that over look the coast.

Located in the Mar Vista Valley only eight miles from the Pacific Ocean. We enjoy the best weather in the world. The ocean breeze along with gorgeous sunsets adds to the experience.

Our private fire pit nestled in the granite boulders is truly one of a kind. We hope you come experience our slice of heaven for yourself soon.

'The Little House'

Our home is located in historic 'Trabuco Canyon' in Orange County, CA.  Our cabin 'number 63' was built in 1928 and all the cabins here in the cabin were sold as hunting cabins or used for vacationing.   Live Oak Canyon Road, and Silverado Canyon Road are some of the nicest driving areas in Southern California.  Learn more about this land:Welcome to Cabin 63... or, we like to call her, ‘The Little Red House’. Our little prefab studio is located in a quiet, safe, tucked away rural neighborhood... at the foot of beautiful Saddleback Mountain. Chickens and cats free range among the oak trees and you will often hear the sounds of horses meandering down the road.Our canyon has a real country feel to it and yet you are only minutes away from the city.  We are situated in a hub of hiking and biking trails and,  if desired, we are only 30 minutes from the beach.  In the evening you can often hear the bleating of sheep on the nearby hills and coyotes yipping in the night.

Start your morning having coffee on the tree swing... or end your evening here with a special someone.

Trabuco Canyon HideAway

Located in Orange County,  Trabuco Canyon is nestled in the foothills of Saddleback Mountain.  Driving through the canyon is like taking a step back in time.  Many of the original cabins, that were built in 1928, remain today. You'll hear sheep that graze on nearby hills, share the rode with horseback riders and see the stars because there are no street lights.Warning - there is a rooster who lives two properties over and he does crow starting early in the morning.  We can sleep through anything so it doesn't bother but if you're a light sleeper, or not a morning person, this might not work for you.There's magic here.**We set our trailer up so that people that want to try out camping, for just a get away or to try out the 18' size, don't have to go through the whole towing and set up process.  Also, it's perfect for young people who may be attending a local wedding.And just for clarity, the trailer does not get hooked up to anyones's vehicle and does not leave the property.  It's strictly for onsite use.Learn more about this land:We have a magical spot set up on the upper level of our property where you can get back to 'simple'. You'll feel like you're camping but you don't have to hassle with the setup. Just bring a walking stick, bike, a good book....or great for a remote work space, and you're set for a simple get away.The table area has wrap around windows that look out over mature oak trees...and make you feel like you're in a tree house. The beach is 20 miles away.

Vista Villa Eco Lodge

The Vista Eco Village is a 1 acre food forest communal living property approximately 8 acres east of the ocean that began in 2012. It borders Oceanside and Vista but is technically in the County. We grow over 37 different fruit tree varietals (trees and vines); we are into permaculture and lateral growing. We have a pet pig and birds.
