The St. Francis National Forest is more diverse, with the St. Francis and Mississippi Rivers running through it, as well as lakes, valleys, and tons of wildlife. It’s the only place in the national forest system where you can access the Mississippi River from the shore, so that right there is a must do! The whole expanse of land is filled with multi-use trails, hundreds of campsites, spots for swimming, fishing, and boating, and even some amazing caves to explore. Mother Nature crushing it as usual.

The land is beautiful with areas to spend time at outside the van. My dog loved roaming around the field and seeing the horses and donkeys! She cried when we left! Also indoor bathroom option for toilet and a shower, was a major plus! The host was very responsive to our short booking window and respectful of our sometimes anxious dog, that felt welcoming to us! We look forward to stopping again next time we are driving through the area!

Beautiful property! The fall foliage was amazing, it was a relaxing weekend and I highly recommend ChrisLeigh Farms. We enjoyed the farm animals, the host was phenomenal and I even got a quick cookie decorating lesson. I hope to visit this property again soon.

If you're considering staying here I would say do it, without a doubt. Debbie is the kindest, most accommodating host, the farm is pristine, private, safe and beautiful and it's a close enough drive for a trip into Memphis to look around. There is a full shower and bathroom and the campsite itself is stunning. My five year old was sad to leave this place. Debbie has thought of every detail and it shows. We wish we could've stayed longer and if we're ever passing through Memphis again we'll definitely be back. Thank you for everything Debbie it was so nice to feel right at home while on the road.

Beautiful area! Don't forget the bug spray! Very accommodating and awesome host! My dogs loved her! I was testing my camping skills with 2 large dogs and didn't want to be around a lot of people doing so lol. Plenty of trees for leads and hammocks! Great little spot!

What a gem! Debbie's property is peaceful and simply beautiful. The grounds are very well maintained, have mature shade trees, rolling hills along with flat areas for tent camping. Lights are up illuminating the picnic table and grill area. The view of the pond and the covered bridge add charm to the equation.
The bathroom and shower were such an added bonus.
Debbie is very friendly and welcoming. In fact, she had homemade designer Fourth of July cookies, which she kindly shared.

Debbie’s property was truly lovely .. I can definitely recommend it and we’ll surely return there again. I camped overnight following a long drive from New Orleans .. It’s hard to describe the feeling I felt pulling into the property. Pure calm and relief and gratitude to have found such a beautiful place and a person willing to share it.

I enjoyed my stay there. I think it's good for saving money if you just need a safe place to pitch your tent and aren't really going to hang out much at the campsite. It is a scenic livestock farm out in the northern Mississippi hill country. Dogs bark and roosters crow so it's a good idea to have ear plugs.

Fantastic site. Tons of space to place your tent. Beautiful area next to a lake and farm. Plenty of land to walk around and enjoy. Debbie was a great host. She greeted us when we got there and said bye when we left.
We got to enjoy throwing the football, making a fire, and grill on a charcoal grill. Well worth the trip. Lucky to have been able to enjoy it.

Quiet, beautiful, grassy spot accessible by covered bridge, and nestled in the trees overlooking a charming pond, with a fire ring and plenty of fire wood- perfect for a relaxing break or to split up a long drive. The barn has a bathroom and shower. Debbie is charming (we only spoke to her over the phone b/c we arrived late and she had dinner plans), and her location is perfect. The location is remote (though you can hear the highway on a quiet night)- you are secluded and feel far away from the world, yet Memphis is a short drive and creature comforts are even closer. My husband and children were very happy with our perfect camp spot. We enjoyed the rolling hillside, the swings, the friendly donkeys, the talkative geese and the beautiful night sky (we were lucky enough to see a pink full moon rise).

We loved camping at ChrisLeigh Farm! Set up was perfect with picnic tables, fireplace, and string lights - plus an available bathroom and shower. The property is beautiful! We enjoyed the pond with geese and baby ducks and the lovely covered bridge. Debbie is a kind and generous host. We came to paddle the Wolf River. It was a rainy weekend so we came back wet on Sat. I asked if we could hang up some stuff in the barn to dry. But instead Debbie offered to throw our clothes in the dryer. Talk about going the extra mile! 10 out of 10 stay.
