Weekend Trip to Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

We enjoyed our time at Camp Toasty! We were the only ones in the area. This is truly a DIY camp experience. We enjoyed fishing in the river, playing on the playground and hiking around. We plan to return in the future. This was our first Hip Camp experience. We did not receive the bundles of firewood nor could we access the bin at the gate so will likely bring our own next time. Thank you for hosting a wonderful and relaxing experience. On to more adventures!

Beautiful place to rest and unwind. Huge campsites, peaceful walking trails, plus a picturesque creek. My wife and I plus our two dogs loved it. Hope to go back before winter.

3 nights at Pinnacle Springs Recreational Park

We stayed 3 nights at Camp Toasty #3 and had a fantastic time! The campground is full of family-friendly fun—ninja hurdles, a playground, zipline, beaches, pet pigs, and great fishing spots. Our kids (3 and 7) had a blast exploring and playing all day. We hiked to both Little B and Big B waterfalls—both were stunning! Just a heads-up: Big B is a steep, rocky climb and not ideal for small kids. Little B was much more accessible and still beautiful. Though canoeing wasn’t possible due to high water levels, the thoughtful owner set out boats, paddles, and PFDs on a nearby slough so the kids could try kayaking. It was such a kind gesture. The hosts were incredibly welcoming—provided directions, clean water, a fan for the heat, and even treats for our dog! They truly went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The restrooms were clean, and there was so much to explore—we never ran out of things to do. Highly recommend Camp Toasty #3 for a fun, peaceful, and adventure-filled family getaway. We’d love to come back!

Very straightforward and easily accessible site. I used a rooftop tent at Camp Toasty. The weather kept me under cover for most of my stay. The property itself is awesome. I can't wait to come back!

I camped in my van. This was my second time here, and I'll keep coming back. It's peaceful and the creek is nice. They are really nice, but leave you in peace too. I highly recommend it.

Beautiful spot! I will stay here again anytime. My visit was for 2 weeks in October and I was surrounded by fall foliage. There’s the creek, pond, animals, and just a very relaxing spot to have a nice stay. Everyone I encountered was very friendly and helpful. Thank you, John!
