Handmade modern rustic off grid glamping cabin. Sits down in the valley overlooking a small creek. Located between America's First National River, the Buffalo River and the most unique town in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR. Just 6 miles to the Kings River. Surrounded by hiking, mountain biking, floating, fishing and hunting. Built with an emphasis on using locally milled rough sawn timber, reclaimed materials and handmade details throughout.
This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. There is a two-burner propane cooktop and mini fridge. Bowls, plates, cups and silverware for two guests. Basic food prep items are also available. Round 2-person dining table looking out the big picture window. The creek will be running when there is sufficient rainfall. Guests have access to the designated trails. This cabin and location are perfection. The amount of well-honed craft that went into building the cabin and its outbuildings like the shower and outhouse are stunning, but so, too, the thought that went into making a comfortable space for guests. The mini-fridge and the large amount of water in the kitchen were so welcome. The meandering trails made my dogs so happy as we walked them several times a day. Even the light fixtures are worth gazing upon. I left here rested and restored.

A fantastic host. The property was great. Just far enough out in the country where it feels secluded. 10 min drive to Devils Den State Park. Loved that host provided firewood, ring, lighter and fire starter. Fridge kept things cold. Coffee was provided.

Wonderful peaceful secluded getaway. This cozy cabin was just what was needed. The kitchen had the necessary items for stove top meals. The bed and linens where comfortable for a good nights sleep. A well kept outhouse. And a nice porch to sit in nature or if rain or cold a big window so you can sit inside and not feel too removed from the outdoors.

Had the BEST stay. The tiny house is stocked with everything we needed for an easy stay and was beautifully decorated! It felt like home away from home. The hosts were wonderful and had great communication. There was plenty of firewood on site for our campfires. The scenery is gorgeous and the trails are super well kept. We loved being so close to Devils Den as well. First time camping in NW Arkansas and we will definitely be back!

Weekend Trip to Homestead At Rocky Acres
Perfect little cabin for a weekend in the woods! It’s close enough to town to drive in for shopping, etc but feels super private and secluded once you’re there. The cabin was clean, cool, and comfy and we loved the fire pit! Thanks for a great stay!

Weekend Trip to Biker’s Haven: Cozy Tiny Home
Overall, it is a wonderful spot! Has everything you need for a great weekend away. We did have a few details we wish we knew beforehand that wasn’t provided in the description. I wouldn’t still highly recommend the spot despite the missing information, which I’m sure will be updated.
It says secluded but it’s about 10 feet from their house and the neighbors. It didn’t affect our stay but I wouldn’t really call it secluded. When I think of the word secluded I think that it is a very large lot and the stay space is far away from the house and not able to be seen just by looking out the back window. In addition, we did not know they had a dog they would be letting out 10 feet from our stay with no warning. Since it says off leash, that would be really good information to have when bringing a dog of our own. While our dogs are friendly, suddenly having another dog run up into the space was quite a shock and could have caused issues.
It has since been updated, but originally the listing said “pets allowed” and when we arrived with 2 dogs they informed us they only allow one and would have to charge us for the extra dog.
All of that being said, it is still a beautiful place and would stay again, just wish we had that additional information beforehand.
