Things like poison ivy, seed ticks, chiggers, ants, spiders, snakes, wildlife...Always check with the host on the app before arrival. Arriving when it gets dark will mean you will be setting up in the dark unless you have brought lanterns. If you've booked a site, the gate will be open for you, but you will be on your own. Very clean camping spots that are backed up to an awesome creek. You can see the mountain face with a couple of spots where you can get under it Has a nice open spot in the middle of the campground big enough to play football or frisbee. If you want good exercise,walk up the hill a few times 🤣

Staying here for two nights with john was so amazing !! i got to meet wonderful people along the way and explore some beautiful sites and areas. the trails john takes you are are absolutely breath taking. super friendly guy. I loved this place and will for sure be coming back winter, summer, fall, autumn, great for all seasons !!

13 ft travel trailer
We loved camping at Michelle’s land Rocky Creek Campground! The grounds were immaculate and the views were simply spectacular. From the mountains with river view, to the lake view, to the trails. Something for your eyes!!! Michelle and her husband were very nice and welcoming with us. Michelle greeted us at the entry and showed us around.
The amenities were great! We camp with a 13ft travel trailer and usually set up our own bathroom/showering tent. However we found the outhouse very charming and fell in love with the outdoor showering rooms! Very quiet and peaceful campsite. Great for star gazing. Campsites are spacious and the lake is something to behold.
We cannot wait to book again and spend more time!!!

Michelle was incredible. This is the second time I’ve been here and both have been an incredible experience. She went out of her way multiple times to make sure we had what we needed. She even took my kids to go see and pet their sheep. Highly recommended for families or even singles.

Our group of four had an absolute blast. Being October the sites weren’t filled up, so it was very peaceful. The property was beautiful and just refreshing. Aside from the showers not working when we stayed, I have nothing negative to say about our stay.
We camped at site #9 and it was perfect for both tent and hammock camping. The outhouse was close and very clean.
We unplugged while there. Though for those curious service was low, yet manageable if needed.
We will definitely be back for another stay!

This was a nice little retreat for our family! We didn’t see the foraging garden but maybe next time we get down there we will. Very quiet and the kids loved the zip line! We were at #9 but I’d probably do number 3 next time for the perfect amount of seclusion but also close enough to let the kids go play at the ninja course and still see/hear them.

Such a nice place to camp and enjoy the scenery. We didn’t get to swim but there’s lots to do. Slides and fun things in the water. We fished but didn’t have any bites. We really enjoyed our camping experience and plan to return!

It was my first time tent camping. Was a bit nervous on night one but by night two I was so content. It was beautiful there. I was very thankful that the fire pit came with a griddle already. Ok so back to the first night, I was actually pretty terrified, I was trying to sound tough up above, it was SO dark. The road I had to go down to get to the campsite looked like they wanted me to end it all, but apparently i was just nervous and dramatic. It is steep, it is rocky, DEFINITELY wouldn’t recommend any small cars on that road but it was worth it! The stars were SO beautiful, there were so many, makes me wonder where those stars be hiding at when I look up at the sky at my house🤔 Your camera can not capture the true beauty of that sight so take a mental picture too, and keep it! We were by a creek which was a plus because I love a big body of water. The first night (in my head) it was surely the seen from a horror movie that I survived to be able to tell you that you MUST go experience it for yourself. I finally got to heat up a can of beans on a open fire out in the wood to eat because I was hungry, im not sure if I felt like an accomplished homeless person or the winner of Naked and afraid. Either way it was pretty dope. Oh so if you’re no lumber jack then I suggest you get the bundle of firewood. First night had to fend for myself, It was fun looking for the wood but it was all damp and wouldn’t stay lit. Beautiful scenery, 100/10 recommend, what are you waiting for??

We absolutely loved our night here. The site we tent camped at felt completely secluded & we were surrounded by beautiful scenery. From the creek in front of our site to the huge bluff behind us, we felt like we were camping in one of the national forests instead of a privately-owned campsite. We cannot recommend Pinnacle Springs enough - the only thing we would change is being able to stay longer.
