Calico Camp is a lovely, shady spot on private property about 2 miles from Calico Rock Main Street and the White River. Rich in history and great fishing. Bring your boat and kayak. Or, you can rent one in town. There are fishing guides available, too.
I moved here in 2016 from Atlanta, Georgia. I actually lived in an RV in a beautiful park for several years there. And, loved it! I thought I was going to do that here, but changed my mind when I found this sweet little house on a couple of acres. Deer visit us, and bunnies make their homes here. I have cats and dogs of my own.

Nice, private, shady. Easy to get to from Hwy. 56. About 2 miles from the White River and Main Street Calico Rock.
Turn from Hwy. 56 can be tricky for big rigs because of a ditch at Jones Street. Left hand turn is easier than right hand turn.
You can use the parking lot across the street to help you back your rig into the campsite. We have permission from the owner to do that.
There is room for your boat, too. Pets are welcome. Close to grocery, bank, gas.
The White River is famous for its trout fishing. Deer hunting in the area, too. (Not on this property.)
The hookups are on the left side (right side if you back in). You may need extensions for your power and sewer. I have them available, if you don’t have your own.

Park your camper or RV in the lower field or pitch your tent deep in the woods or right over the cliffs on our picturesque ravine with a waterfall. Feel free to explore all around the ravine area and check out the spring downstream and our many acres of forested beauty. We have areas of hardwood forest and areas of cedar and pine. Check out the area of glade rock forest on the southern portion of the property but remember, this is nature! Dangers abound including high cliffs, loose and large rocks not to mention various animals including skunks and snakes among others! Hike at your own risk!
You won't find another camping area like this, 5 minutes to Calico Rock (Stores and restaurants) with so much to do and see in the area, hiking trails, Gunner Pool and Blanchard caverns, since we are surrounded by the Ozark National Forest!
Not to mention, world-class trout fishing or kayaking just 5 minutes away in the famous White River! Only 25 minutes to 2 Norfork Lake entrances, too!
We now have a nice, new clean outhouse as well as offering a generous pile of firewood for just $10! More amenities like picnic tables are coming.

This place!!! Great river camp lot with electric water sewer and WIFI. Bring your camper or your tent. There is a great local outfitters that will pick you up and take you up river to float back to your camp. May rent vessels from them!! Country setting. easy access to Beach and boat ramp, Right outside of small town of Pocahontas, on the beautiful 11 Point River, . We reserved the entire Williams camp for float trip group and it worked great! Had 4 campers setup and half dozen tents. Water and electric worked great also! Floated the eleven point river with Hufstedlars outfit. They were able to pickup/dropoff at our location, which is clutch, nobody had to drive after the float. It was really nice to have a place for our group all by ourselves, very secluded but still easily accessible. Phone service was 50/50 for some of us, but personally my phone worked well the entire time while at the campsite. You are definitely in the woods, so be ready with the bug spray and tick prevention. Overall, my group of 18 had a great experience here, we would def reserve this again when we come back to the 11pt River.
