There are walking trails (Serenity Loop and The Back 40), fields and creek beds to explore. We have 5 nightly rentals in total, along with an Event Center (The Vue at Rocky Acres), and we offer on site trail rides, picnics and wine tasting (reservation required; subject to availability). You will only be 15 minutes to town, 20 minutes to the Historic District. You will be close enough for convenience and tourist activities, but far enough for peace and quiet in a beautiful surrounding when you want it!

A place carved out of history dating back over 200 years ago. This is where history welcomes you to the Cherokee culture. This land has been handed down for generations and has stayed in the family beginning on my mother’s side of the family, Mary Ann Groundhog, the fourth generation great granddaughter of Sequoyah on the “Dick” side of my family tree. My mother was heavily involved with AIM (American Indian movement).
My dad was the last monolingual Cherokee. His name was Mack Vann, he was a man who loved culture and sharing it with visitors and handed down that passion to me. My hip camper site is named after my daddy, I am still a daddy‘s girl. The land originated before Sequoyah. who created the Cherokee syllabary. Sequoyah was my fifth generation great grandfather and I am very proud of my Cherokee heritage, I would love to share my culture, my tradition, and my passion with you.

We loved the space #24, beautiful view behind us and a good size. Staff were friendly and pool was nice. They provided pool floats and had a hot tub as well. There is a new dog park and they are working on a new walking/biking path. Bath house and laundry provided. There is a trolley stop on site.

The Vintage Vue Airstream was the perfect getaway. Beautiful property on a massive horse farm. Amazing views, farm animals wandering around and attentive and responsive hosts. Gorgeous sunset views!

We had such a great experience at the Rt. 62 campground. We stayed in the Bungalow cabin with our dogs. The grounds were lovely with a lot of different activities. The jacuzzi tub was a fun addition. The hosts were very easy to communicate with. We would definitely stay there again!

I had an excellent stay here over the holidays! Such a great classic style motor resort. Well kept facilities and everyone was super friendly. I was amazed by the view at site 24 when I first pulled up. The views of the forest behind the resort are spectacular. I'll definitely be back if I'm ever in the area again! Thanks!
