Located on Beaver Creek on 21 acres you may choose your site tucked in the mesquite bosque or among the sycamores. The 1 1/2 mile dirt road is rough but worth the effort. Close to Sedona, Page Springs wineries, hiking and relaxing. See the stars at night and let nature rejuvenate.

The alpacas will be pleased to eat some grain from your palm and the rooster will wake you at dawn ready for the start the morning.  Arrival before dark required for check-in unless approved by host in advance.

Pitch your tent or park your van in a designated site of your choosing on 21 acres either tucked in the mesquite bosque, near the creek (hike-in) or among the sycamores (drive-in). A Quiet Place Near Sedona

Sedona is only 10 minutes away. The Village of Oak Creek and West Sedona are equally convenient, and the location lets you skip the tourist traffic! 

Awaken to the sound of roosters crowing, and marvel at the Milky Way unobstructed by light pollution. Enjoy 50 amp service and water, plus the peace that comes with having no close neighbors in a noisy campground. Dump service is FREE for the first 10 guests. 

One owner is a yoga and trail guide and can help you plan your ideal vacation. Ask about the additional services we offer! Of course, you can simply park and go about your holiday! :) 

We can currently accommodate campers up to 32 feet. Large 5th wheels and Class A RVs are currently not supported until we widen the driveway to protect your safety. The site is relatively flat, but we are adding a concrete pad and can help you level. Feel secure leaving your home on wheels inside a fully gated property in a quiet, safe community while you explore the wonders of the Verde Valley, including Sedona.

Red Rock Camp Horses Welcome

We welcome you to our beautiful star gazing horse property!  2 full hook-up sites one no hookups . 30 Ft trailers or less.  For an extra fee, use our retro camper, Sleeps two.  Bring the horses!  Plenty of room for horse trailers. We also have a 21 thousand square foot corral. Inquire for horse fees.. Miles of trails behind house. 8 miles to Sedona center. Any questions welcome!

Right down the road from Red Rocks State Park. Slide Rock State Park and Cathedral Rock Trailheads all with in area.

Hawks Hideaway Camping, LLC

Hawks Hideaway offers 8 campsites suitable for tents of all sizes, many of which can accommodate two or more tents (additional fees may apply).  We also have a large, unfurnished teepee, and are working on a cozy, furnished country cottage. (ETA Sept 25).  Large trailers and RVs are NOT allowed.

Nearby activities include: bird watching, hiking, river rafting or tubing, kayaking, fishing, swimming, stargazing, and rockhounding. This area conforms to the Arizona Dark Sky initiative, and while we are not dark-sky certified, we've had several guests compliment us on our beautiful skys. When it comes to rockhounding, or amateur geology, this is a fantastic area for exploration and study.

We gladly welcome pets, as long as you take care of all their needs, including cleaning up any mess and filling in any holes.  Well mannered, friendly dogs may be unleashed from time to time. Please, PLEASE watch your small pets carefully.  If you're traveling with cats, please keep them on a lead.

There is a riding academy and boarding facility adjacent to our property, and a long pleasant trail allows horseback riders, hikers and cyclists to travel along the Verde Greenway into Old Town Cottonwood, a pleasant 30 minute walk through lush riparian area.

Hawks Hideaway is a family owned property, occupied by a 3rd and 4th generation, mother-son team.   Two generations have lived and died here before us and we are proud to be the custodians of this majestic property, full of old growth, gigantic cottonwood trees.  A birdwatcher, or naturalists dream.

Hawks Hideaway is a natural and secluded spot located directly adjacent to the state-maintained Verde River Greenway. This means you may encounter wildlife and pests associated with being in such close connection to nature. 

Hawks Hideaway is next to many miles of wilderness. You may see or encounter wildlife of all kinds, most are harmless, some are dangerous.  It is your responsibility to know the difference.  Be prepared to tuck your food away and bring ample protection from the insects.

You are responsible for your own safety and are camping here at you own risk. Please do not interact with any wild animals.  If you encounter something and need help, please reach out to us.  We live on the property and are readily available.

Marguerita Ranch

Pitch your tent or park your camper among towering Saguaros with stunning mountain views in every direction. Bring your camera or your horses! This is the perfect spot for relaxing, stargazing, and soaking in those famous Arizona sunsets. You’ll have a spacious, private campsite all to yourself—I only allow one booking at a time to ensure a peaceful and personal experience.

Please note: This is a working horse ranch, which means you'll see fencing, trailers, and occasional activity from people helping keep the ranch running. While your campsite is private, our property is just over two acres—so you'll also see neighboring homes. If you're looking for complete solitude with no sights, sounds, or smells of ranch life, I recommend dispersed camping elsewhere.

My 2.2-acre private horse ranch is home to:

	•	8 rescue horses

	•	2 donkeys

	•	8 mini pigs and a few chickens!

…all ready to meet and greet!

Trail access? Absolutely.

Hiking and horseback riding trails lead directly from the property into Spur Cross Conservation Area—or take a short 10-minute drive to a main trailhead. Black Mountain Hiking Trail is also nearby and offers panoramic views of the valley. You can even ride your horse into town and tie up at the local cowboy bars!

	•	The landscape varies with the season—there won’t be green grass in the summer
	•	Please keep pets away from cactus—they bite!
	•	We’re located in a desert neighborhood, so please respect the nearby homes. My house and neighbors house will be in view from your campsite.

Just 30 miles from The Phoenix Airport, Saguaro Lake AZ, and 11 miles from the We Ko Pa full scale casino, this 1/2 Camp 1/2 Glamp getaway will offer you privacy in dispersed camping, Fishing, boating, water or  skiing, lounging in a hammock, roasting hotdogs or snacking on S’mores in the 246 square foot nd 2000 plus cubic feet of space, this secluded getaway cozies up to the East Verde River. Sunrises, sunsets, and panoramic views are filled with pine trees and towering ponderosas.

The gentle river, when flowing, is only 6 inches to a foot deep in most places—perfect for setting up a camping chair with a cold beverage while your dog relaxes right beside you without fighting a current.

It’s quiet and private, yet just a mile from the main road and another mile into town. There, you’ll find a family-owned grocery store connected to a restaurant and tavern, plus charming local shops selling honey, beef jerky, and collectibles. The local firehouse is right down the street, and the friendly residents will make you feel like a local, too.

This campsite has no close neighbors—you’ll be secluded, but still close to civilization if needed.

Amenities include a charging station for your electronic devices and lighting.

The huge 256-square-foot dome tent (over 2,000 cubic feet) is larger than the average hotel room. It features a queen-sized bed with fresh linens and pillowcases for a restful night’s sleep. The tent also has heating and space for up to 4 more adults on the floor—bring sleeping bags and share the experience with family and friends.

The “Domed Taj Mahal” tent boasts 8 windows for stargazing and 2 doors for easy entry and exit.
Relax in the netted adult hammock or the child-sized hammock for an afternoon siesta.
We’ve even rounded up firewood for you—plenty of “cowboy cable”

Tiny Corner Lot

Our property is just one street off the 87 highway. Walkable to so many things in town. Very easy access to all of Payson and the freeways to take you hiking, fishing, or to water. We have one RV slot with clean out, water access, and a 30 apm hook up. (This is not an acer property that was the smallest amount I could put in the system.) Come enjoy Payson and the fun adventures surrounding it.

Working Cattle Ranch

Our high desert cattle ranch is located in Central Arizona and covers 13,000 acres. We lease government land to maintain our mother cows and breeding stock. Our herd of Brangus and Beefmaster Cross cattle are best adapted to the desert-type climate. We also have some American Wagyu cattle. The cattle forage on native grasses in mesquite, catclaw, prickly pear, and pinyon-type vegetation. It’s a passion and more about a lifestyle that involves hard work, grit, and dedication. Raising cattle and livestock has always been a way of life that both, Pierre & Kristi, have been a part of. Raising our girls teaching the values of hard work, good stewardship of the land, and passing on a passion for the cattle industry are the focus of their cattle business. We offer 4 full hook-up RV spots, plenty of room for dry camping and pitching a tent. We also offer several cuts of beef that you can purchase when you arrive and see our availability.

The area is part of the National

Wild and Scenic preserve on the Verde River.

The river is one of the only few free flowing rivers in Arizona. Otters, Beaver, Blue Heron and a vast amount of migratory birds call it home. Once an inland water way to the Sea of Cortez, the river was part of the trade route during ancient times. Many Indian Ruins and archeological sites to visit in the area.  Scenic boating, hiking and ATV trails right from your campsite.

The property borders the Prescott National Forest.

The campsite is in a mesquite grove. I visited in winter (when it was delightfully warm), but leaves on the tress will make it nice and shady during summer.

A stone fire pit is surrounded by benches for seating.

The entrance to the campsite is on Beasley Flats Road. The last mile in is bumpy, but doable for any vehicle.

The campsite is walking distance to the Wild and Scenic Verde River. Ancient cave dwellings line the cliffs on the far shore.

Cave Creek Quiet Homestead

Quiet slice of heaven under the stars on our homestead. 
We continue to have reduced our camping experience for our winter 2025 season to keep our site secluded and private. Please check back for open dates and sites 

Our space offers a tranquil setting with several camping options. 
Site # 1: Glamping Tent is Closed for 2025 season.   We are offering tent campers at this site on a limited availability.
Site #2: Saguaro Camp site. Bring your tent or rent one of ours.
Site # 3: RV Glamping.  Queen size bed with a dinette that can be used as an extra bed for the little ones.

Site # 4  RV, Pop Ups or Living Quarters with horses/mules

We offer Communal Spaces with restroom, grill, table, other seating with larger fire-pit. Feel free to visit our horses, chickens or hike our beautiful trails right from the property.

Guardian Ridge

Van and Truck Camper camping on 8 acres on raw land. Epic views. We are between Montezuma Castle National Monument and Montezuma Well. We are near key attractions like: Montezuma Castle, Sedona Wolf Sanctuary, and 140 miles o the Grand Canyon. 

This is raw land, which means you will need to pack it in and pack it out. Please be mindful of wildlife like: raccoons, bears, and coyotes. The location will be shared once booked, and can be found utilizing the GPS coordinates included.
