Welcome Home! Happy Canyon Campers! The land is rugged and beautiful here. And the Grand Canyon is a 30 minute or 25 mile drive down the road! We are building something awesome here through the camp ground we are working to get the desert through permaculture as well as developing a non profit mobile kitchen and humanitarian aid bus. Hope to see you here and maybe we'll meet asking the road too.Learn more about this land:Here in the high desert nestled between snow capped mountains to the South and the Grand Canyon national park just 25 miles North. It's a wonderful place to enjoy a bit of nature and at night epic star viewing. The micro cabins are set up on my 10 acre property that I'm working to create a mini farm oasis on.  It's fully off grid and managed using ecologically sustainable principles. I feel that it's a great way to get some time away from the hustle and bustle and experience a simpler way of being, but with just enough comfort to not be completely roughing it.

Grand Canyon Wander Camp

After traveling the world extensively for over 5 years we discovered that there are few places as beautiful as the great outdoors. We live for untouched wilderness, gorgeous landscapes, and stunning sunrises. Thus Wander Camp was born, a Glamping Property with no boundaries. Finally an accommodation that enjoys traveling the world as much as you do.

Wander Camp Grand Canyon is a rustic glamping accommodation, located in Dark Sky country, approximately 30 minutes from the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. 

Please be aware that you may encounter other groups during your visit. Our site features numerous glamping tents, and although it is nestled in a secluded area, you may still encounter other individuals.

4WD is recommended! BE PREPARED to drive on rural, unpaved roads, with the potential for both pot holes and large dips along the way. Parking is available as close to tents as possible, typically a short walk of 25-50 feet.

Each of our large, waterproof canvas bell tents - 216 sq. feet, 16 feet in diameter and height - include low profile windows and a large netted door with double zippers for privacy. Inside you'll see they come furnished with not only the necessary camping furniture, but luxury beds with high thread count sheets, plush down comforters, pillows and blankets. A soft rug, side tables and leather wingback chairs give it that touch of home.

We do operate completely off-grid which means no electricity is provided at camp. We provide solar lanterns in each tent for lighting, as well as solar lighted pathways throughout camp; however, you'll definitely want to make sure you take time to enjoy the darkness for star gazing outside of our tent.
