"Thar's gold in them thar hills" could've been coined right here.  There are gold mines and evidence of miners picking quartz etc. all around us.  Cairns marked off areas that are still here over a hundred years later.  We are the center of the oldest examples of Arizona cattlemen starting herds right here.  Round-ups and branding still go on every year.  One of the prettiest areas in the state for all kinds of unique boulder and rock formations, flora and fauna.  Wonderful hiking and scenic drives.

Yes, the stagecoach did come down parts of Alamo Rd.  Wouldn't this glamping site been a stellar stop for any weary traveler?

What cattle manager wouldn't enjoy watching the herd, or more likely here a cow with her calf, from a bunkhouse like this?

We named this Saguaro, "Army." We found petroglyphs in this mountain filled with huge rocks.

This is our, "Just No-way" rock named by a visitor who is still shaking his head in disbelief.  There's more than one of these around.

Alamo Lake is 25 miles down a scenic and county graded dirt road. Swimming, tubing, canoeing, boating on the quiet more private side of the lake. Bring some shade for hot summer days.

A more private setting than a campground. Minimal lighting from surroundings to enjoy the desert moon and sky at night. Close to many activities to include hiking trails, off-roading, biking, paddle boarding, swimming, boating, and more.We have our property that is made up of one acre of land. Our home is on the south half (upper level) and the north half, which is roughly half of the acre is mostly flat and somewhat level.  Two sites available, Site (1)  on upper level has (full hookup) 50A electric, water, sewer. Site (2) is on lower level and has 30A electric and water, no sewer. Desert's Edge at Lake Havasu

Located just a few minutes from nearby Lake Havasu City, Desert's Edge is set on a one-acre parcel within the Mohave County community of Crystal Beach. With construction only recently completed, the property has been graded and developed specifically with the RV campsites in mind. Steve&Dawn's Desert Retreat

Our desert retreat is just that-desert.  If you like to off-road, BLM land is close.

But really we just enjoy the landscape and stars and the sunsets. Plenty of space between sites. We have a nice 29ft trailer for those who need lodging.

There are two full hook-up RV sites and if you want to dry camp in your van or RV, water and a dump station are available on the property.
