This was a foreclosed property which is being brought back to its glory. We border the Tohono O’odham land with many, many desert hikes and sightseeing trips to take. A truly educational and soul fulfilling experience awaits.Learn more about this land:Sonoran Skies Campground is a quiet, natural desert like campground. We have 6 full hook ups, 5 partial hook ups with water/septic and plenty of space for boondockers to pitch their tent. We are surrounded by desert for hiking and are only 17 miles from the Organ Pipe National Monument. (28 from Sonoita/Mexico). There is a ton of wildlife here and coyotes/wild burros/quail/roadrunners and more can be seen daily. Our campground has about 50 egg laying chickens, 2 roosters and a Turkey named Boudicca (Celtic Warrior Queen). They all love to be held and cuddled. Come experience our vast dark starry skies and our Scottish hospitality. You won’t regret it.
