Cypress Landing RV Park is a family-oriented, locally-owned RV park that sits on the shores of beautiful Gantt Lake in South Alabama. The lake is approximately 2,700 acres in size with 21 miles of shoreline. Located on the Choctawhatchee river, The Lazy River home is 1 mile up river from the bay and located just off of the big river. You are able to access the best of both worlds here including Crab Island, the fresh water springs and the big river.
Stay in the river and catch bass, bream and catfish or venture into the bay and catch redfish, trout and mullet. The home features a private concrete boat launch, dock, and boat lift in the brackish water canal behind the home for your boat. Enjoy accessing the home for your stay by water or land. Our favorite way to access is by boat- launching at the West Bay bridge in Panama City and running down the intracoastal waterway into the bay.
When accessing our property by vehicle, be prepared to drive 17 miles off of highway 79 with a 4 mile portion of that being a dirt road. We can not guarantee the condition of the dirt road portion of your drive for your stay, however the dirt road is graded weekly.
Enjoy the seclusion of this area while still being in close proximity to Panama City Beach and 30A.
Pier Park in Panama City Beach is where you can find the nearest grocery stores, shopping and restaurants in a 35-40 min drive from the home. Once you are here, its likely you will want to stay and not leave though so bring plenty of good meals to cook and enjoy!
The home features a private screened cookhouse with a wood burning grill, satellite TV and plenty of private parking for your vehicle and boat trailer.

We had such an amazing stay! The property is so beautiful. We loved walking around the garden, sitting by the fire and grilling. They had a bunch of fresh herbs and fruits. The blue berries were my favorite. There is an outdoor shower and port a potty to use both very clean. We really loved the outdoor shower. We came to this area to visit the natural springs nearby. We went to Morrison and Ponce de Leon and they were beautiful and very close by. There is so much to do in the area making this a great spot. The owners are so so kind and welcoming. You can tell they put a lot of thought and care into the spot.

We had the most amazing weekend! The entire set up was breathtaking and very romantic! The gardens and plants were beautiful and my absolute favorite part along with the outdoor shower because long hot showers were wanted at the end of our day.
We spent the full day Saturday with rented e-bikes tours Florida Caverns State Park and sightseeing the caverns.
Very impressed the hosts thought of everything we could have possibly needed and left nothing to run and get, we will definitely book again!

We loved our stay in the yurt! It was so cozy and had everything we needed from first aid kit, to snacks, and fire wood. Our dogs probably has the best time of all of us exploring the property and finding the creek. We rented a canoe and floated the river 30 minutes away (Cypress Springs) which I strongly recommend! Dollar general and the local market was just a 2 minute drive for any necessities but the campsite is tucked off away from the road.

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The property is beautiful and its very quiet. There was plenty of privacy to explore the property and the layout was perfect. Our dog had a blast roaming around and she spent a lot of time down in the creek. It was the perfect blend of the outdoors and access to the creature comforts youd want. Me and my girlfriend LOVED this place. Still had outdoorsy camping vibes with a cozy bed. Had an outdoor kitchen for cooking and had all the necessities for a charcoal grill and a camp fire.
