It was great. Beautiful, level site. Full hook ups, and located on a private pond. 10 minutes to the beach. I was met by the host when I arrived, she helped me back in, and made sure I was all set. I will definitly be back!

I had a fantastic time! The camping sites have so much character! Amanda was super accommodating and sweet! Her dog. Bella was so adorable! I would totally go back again! It's so close to the water, cute hiking path, cute showers, and a sweet setup for cooking and having coffee in the morning.

We had a great time at The Wandering Path. The RV set up offered some nice shade and close proximity to the amenities. Coldwater Creek was amazing and super refreshing. Great place for my dog too. Amanda is a gracious host and the property is very well maintained. We shall return!!

This was our 4th time of staying at The Wandering Path over the last years. As usual we had a wonderful, peaceful and relaxing weekend. The RV campsite and bathhouse are always very clean. And the Path to walk down to the river was well maintained. In fact whole place is well maintained and beautiful. Amanda has always been an exceptional host and always has a smile and a wave when she passes through checking the guest and property.

Such a relaxing space. Quiet and peaceful, Owner, Amanda is kind, responsive and on sight if anything is needed.
Outdoor kitchen was handy (we forgot dish soap!).
Creek beach is huge and plenty of space to find shade if you need it.
Saw witch Hazel, wild okra and many other cool plants too!

Very easy entry and plenty of space to maneuver once on site. Peaceful, quiet, out of the way location, with amenities , too. Property is secure at night.
Alex is a great host. On arrival, he greeted me simplified how to position the RV for utility hookup.
If I'm in the area again, I would definitely book again.

Amanda the owner is awesome, but we loved Bella her 15 y/o pup the best! Great location easy to play on the river/creek, hike some trails, be relaxed in peace and beauty.
We stayed at the rv spot- we didn’t have a 30min converter so she let us borrow one - great weekend on river

The host is amazing. She is very welcoming and attentive. The site is super clean and peaceful with enough room between sites to ensure privacy.
Loved the covered outdoor kitchen area and the cedar walled restrooms. As for the waterfront: you just gotta go experience it! Thank you Amanda. P.S. we all loved Bella.

Great site. Huge grassy backyard with power and water hookups, but not too close to their house. Bathroom and laundry in side building. A few miles drive off of I-10, but very direct. Alex is a great host. Quiet. Plenty of room to run your dogs. Would use this site again!!

Amanda is an absolute gem. She was so accommodating from the start. My sister and I arrived there Thursday afternoon and was immediately greeted by sweet Bella. (Amanda’s dog) She hung around with us for a lil bit and then left to make her rounds of the campground. She came back a lil later and said hello again before headed back home for the night. Amanda greeted us right away as well. She made sure we had everything we needed and even offered to pick anything else up that we may have forgotten when she went to the store later that afternoon. The campground was beautifully set up. We stayed at the RV site. My sister had her RV and I set up my rooftop tent on my jeep. The bathroom facilities are adorable. Amanda went above and beyond when she designed them. Very rustic and quaint. I could go on and on about Amanda and The Wandering Path. She personally called me on our way out thanking us for staying out there and then wished me a happy birthday today. That was the icing on the cake for me:) I told her that we will definitely make my bday and annual trip. Thanks again Amanda for the hospitality. We couldn’t be more happier with our stay. Give sweet Bella some love from us until next time.

We loved staying here. It was quiet and peaceful. The facility was clean and attractive. The concrete pad was nice and had great water, electric and sewer capability. We loaded our truck and took a short drive to the beach most everyday. There is a local shrimp company nearby also. We will be back to this location!
