Description

Other campgrounds tremble in their boots when they hear about Red Creek Campground. Set amongst the stunning Curecanti National Recreation Area Red Creek Campground, a series of three reservoirs surrounded by the Rocky Mountains, Red Creek offers a Pandora’s box of adventure: hiking, boating, bird watching. Wind surfers, kayakers/canoers and motorized boats each claim their own reservoir, and hikers can crunch through a diverse set of trails through forests, canyons and fields. Weather is the cherry on top here; Curecanti only gets 12” of rain annually, a solid guarantee for sunshine. Grabbing your tent and racing out the door? Individual sites are first-come, first-served, but you’ll need a reservation for the group one.
