Cascade Campground, west of Red Lodge, is a good base to explore the trails and waterways of the Beartooth country. Campsites are located on the banks of the west fork of Rock Creek and offer a serene spot to string up your hammock, gaze up at the Milky Way, and listen to that fire crackle. Just down the road is Wild Bill Lake, which offers prime canoeing and a fishing dock. This place is a HipNeck campers' paradise!

Remote subdivision on 4500-foot ridge, 10 miles from Columbus exit 408, off of Interstate 90. Your camping spot is near the road for easy access, but the road is private and dead-ends just beyond my property, so traffic is very minimal. I aim to treat all my guests as if you were a long-time friend. I try to be your personal concierge, so anything you need or want to know, just ask.

Tent or RV sites along the hayfield. Cows are gone in the summer, but there are Llama//alpacas, chickens, horses, dogs and a cat. Great star watching at night. Occasional Aurora Borealis and falling/shooting stars. The property backs up to a State section of 640 acres for short hikes. I have one site #4 that has water and electric, no septic, There is a hydrant available for water. Please be reasonable, if you need to fill up a large amount please let me know. I now have a PortaPotty on site. I have a shed with electricity if you need to charge cell phones etc, This is my second summer with Hipcamp. I am flexible, please communicate if you have different requirements or needs. If you have a bigger group, reach out. I now have firewood available. Also Grass fed grass finished beef. Hamburger and steak!

This can be your base camp to explore beartooth pass and Yellowstone National Park....but back at camp you have mountain views and bubbling creeks right by your campsite. We do have cell phone service, as well, which can be tricky to find while dispersed camping in the area. Hiking, biking, fishing are all quick access.
