Warm Springs Guard Station

1 site · Lodging

Recently restored to all its glory, Warm Springs Guard Station is a charming cabin getaway.

The site rests at 4,700 feet amid steep mountain peaks and a narrow valley marked by towering Ponderosa pines. There are several hiking trails nearby, including one that leads to Bonneville Hot Springs, which is accessible by snowshoe or skis in the winter. During that time of year, you’re likely to spot deer and elk. In the summer, you can fish for trout and swim in the South Fork Payette River. Summer visitors to the area may even spot a black bear. Guests should be prepared to bring any supplies they need for a comfortable stay, including drinking water, garbage bags, lighting and toilet paper.
