I loved camping on the property the campsite was so clean and easy to get around ! The owners are so sweet and were extremely accommodating I would recommend this site to anyone looking to have a great camping trip!

There were a lot of things we loved about this place, the beautiful and remote location, lots of greenery and wildlife, and friendly, helpful, and accommodating hosts. I could see how families with kids would enjoy it here, there is lots of space and the hosts have different things to do. The part we had a hard time with was that we just couldn't get away from the noise, whether it was music playing, a movie playing, or weed eaters going. I know that this style of camping is for a lot of people, just not for us. We still had a really nice time, but we love the sound of nature. Thank you for having us!

We had a blast camping at Rocksteady Adventures. John and Trina were so helpful and took great care of us. The lake was gorgeous, with beautiful wildlife, and we had a great time swimming and canoeing. The camp sites were spacious and fairly flat, with just the right amount of sunshine and shade. We got to enjoy some live music as well. The weather was perfect and we would definitely come back again in the Spring.

The owners were polite and great! They checked up on us to ask if we needed anything and if we were doing okay. They were accommodating with last minute changes. I would definitely recommend, the land and water were beautiful! :)

I had a great time camping here. The hosts are really nice and checked on me once I settled in. Nice walk near the water. Oh and I got to say hi to 2 dogs, so that's always a plus.

Trina’s property is beautiful and remote, drive in through open pastures with cows grazing all the way up to their property line. Trina and her husband were VERY nice and accommodating, friendly is an understatement. They let us know there would be duck hunters on the opposite end of the lake the next morning. It didn’t wake us up or bother us in the slightest. The shade from their trees was awesome. We only stayed 1 night as we were on a road trip but it was exactly what we needed. No mosquitos bothered us but lots of gnats around any light source. I hope they continue to update their facilities, the place has endless potential!

The reservoir is beautiful and we would have loved staying here if we could have enjoyed the nature. Unfortunately we had to leave early due to the loud music that went on all day and all night until morning. We were wedged between two parties cranking up the volume and bass, including a bout of bad karaoke, which was probably a fun time for those involved but not what I look for when camping. The hosts were very nice and did talk to our neighbors about quiet hour after we mentioned something, however the non-stop battle of the bands persisted all day and ruined the experience for me. I think this place could be a lot of fun for some types of campers, but if you’re seeking peace look elsewhere!

Pepper's Spot - Site #10 & 11
Certain campers do not respect the others by playing loud music after 10pm. I came there and unable to sleep well. Many possible dog poops are found nearby the water without pickip. The restroom was out of toilet paper and not clean. I feel I drive a far distance and unable to enjoy my weekend.

First of all, the hosts were accommodating but we feel the following changes would help:
1. They need to clean the bathrooms daily. We were there 4 days and the trash cans was overflowing. There was spiders and men’s bathroom lights did not work. We feel going into the bathroom daily just to remove the cobwebs, clean the toilets and check on the trash would improve the environment.
2. The water stream was nice but we thought we would have a direct lake view. Also, we saw a “no fishing” but we saw a couple fishing. I think the fishing status needs to be clarified to avoid confusing the guests.
Again, the hosts were very hospitable and we feel these changes will help this camping community going forward.

Lily's hideout is a must see! The campground is very clean and well thought out. You have this awesome lake to fish and hangout out at. I can only imagine how beautiful it is during spiring! The hosts are awesome - very friendly and look out after you. Hands down, we will be back!

Great hosts, very cozy! Cindy’s Circle #20 is next to the little canals and very roomy! Spigot is nearby, and has some shade trees. Amazing, friendly hosts. Great people, would definitely go again! Thank you!!

Great spot for first time campers. The lake was great and the camping spots full of shadow and with a nice table. Garbage disposals close by, restrooms well equipped and a water outlet also close by. It made our experience so much more enjoyable. Thank you!

I loved the tent site! We could see the great views from the little hill near our tent. My dog enjoyed swimming in a little irrigation canal.

The campsites in the back loop are spacious and wooded. The lake is beautiful!! Trina was extremely helpful and kind--she even asked if we needed anything from the store when she ran to town. Though there are no services, we did have 5G at our site.

WOW!! Thank you, thank you, thank you. What an amazing camping trip.
John, Trina & Friends were SO WONDERFUL, SO HELPFUL, SO DELIGHTFUL through our stay.
Pepper’s site was lovely, large, had water nearby and plenty of tree cover though we ended up camping at another site on the campground, able to move at our request per their availability. John & Trina sent us over to their Home campsite in a gorgeous grove with a creek meandering through the trees… when we arrived at Pepper’s we were concerned about building our campfire near the levy where there were dry grasses this time of year - we’d recently witnessed a mountainside go up in flames in Nevada after some bozo started a highway car fire - thought extra precaution was reasonable. Very grateful for the flexibility they offered us, it really made our trip!
We had the campground to ourselves for nearly a week after a recent music fest was hosted there, got to romp around with Peanut and DOG, ate fresh chicken eggs (thank you!) and paddled our hearts out night and day. Water was warm and refreshing, frogs on the shore were awesome, Willis the cow is adorable and friendly, bathrooms and showers were convenient and stocked with paper products and hand soap. No light pollution for great stargazing. Lots of space in the sites, smaller campground=less packed, sites have reasonable privacy, plenty of tree cover. Egrets, bald eagles, buzzards and more!
Looking forward to returning for one of their music events on the campground.

Great site. Hosts are super nice. I don't think the lake allows speed boats so great for paddleboards, kayaks, canoes, etc.. Certainly will consider coming here again the future.

Great camp spot, short walk to lake. Trash cans were all full, toilets need pumping, but it was end of the weekend.

This spot was awesome! The drive in was genuinely fun and a great view. Trina and her husband are were absolutely the nicest people you'll meet. The camping spot was great, right next to a little creek, and the lake was a good time and within walking distance to the site. Definitely recommend this spot for anyone that wants a nice getaway.

Circle Up Group Camp - Site #15
This campsite worked out so nicely!! For a big group with lots of cars this place has so much space. We ended up switching to another 2 campsites for our group since we wanted more shade and they accommodated no problem. This original campsite I booked is big but is under a lot of sun! We came prepared with two canopy tents so just make sure to bring some collapsible canopy tents to create extra shade. The water access was incredible and so much fun to walk over with floaties. We had a group of 12 plus 5 dogs and everyone raved about coming back here each year! They also have a pet cow named Willis which was adorable! Such a great time and great hosts. The bathrooms are a little far but so clean with lights and showers!!!

Pepper's Spot - Site #10 & 11
We enjoyed having the lake mostly to ourselves, even on a summer weekend. The camp hosts are so friendly and kind. They made a point to spread out campers so no one was right next to another group. My kids loved the camp cow (yes there’s a camp cow!) The walk to the bathroom was a little far (at night mostly) but there was a porta-potty close by for those who wanted to use it. Make sure to bring good water shoes as the shoreline is rocky and in a few places the mud sucked the kids’ shoe off! The peddle boat available for rent was fun for all and the water was refreshing. This campground area is completely off grid, so they use a generator to pump water to the bathrooms, but the campsites were far enough away that you couldnt really hear it much.

Circle Up Group Camp - Site #15
Host lives onsite and is very receptive to requests! But overall for this site its very "the squeaky wheel gets the grease". Trash wasnt emptied out after campers left so there was a strong rotting smell across the campsite area and it wasnt address until we mentioned it. Paddleboard and kayak rentals were convenient but apparently other campers stole paddles so not all the equipment was available. Overall the ops and site wasnt maintained very well. Camp porta potty was infested with maggots but the main bathroom had flush toilets but trash also overflowing.
Site itself was nice but make sure you bring A LOT of deet because the amount of insects was shocking.
