Description

Moraine Campground is also located on the Middle Fork of the Kings River, and at 120 sites, it is one of the largest in the park. Like most of the bigger campgrounds at the park, the sites are numerous but fairly well spaced. There are flush toilets, but the nearest groceries, showers and laundry are ¾ of a mile down the road at Cedar Grove Village. Also first-come, first-serve, this campground is open from May 21 through September 2nd. As with almost every camping spot in this park, you will want to bring or rent a bear locker so critters don’t get into your camping snacks before you do. As weather can affect whether a campground is open or not, always be sure to call 559-565-3341 before you go to double check.
