The drive down is a bumpy dirt road. I suggest coming during the day. There is a big friendly puppy that may visit you. But we can always come down and pick him up if wanted. The yurt comes with lanterns/flashlights/towels for the hot tub. And a clean cozy bed. A heater. Hot shower. There is a heater inside the yurt, The drive down is a five-minute dirt road. It all depends on how comfortable the driver is in their vehicle on a dirt road. We are located about 20 minutes from downtown Santa Barbara.

My partner and I (and our dog) stayed in this nice Yurt for Thanksgiving. It felt very secluded, but only about 20 min to beautiful Santa Barbara. We recommend you bring an SUV or car with higher clearance, as going up and down the dirt road to the campground was difficult in our Prius. Would be fun with a big group of people, as there’s a really nice picnic area and lots of options (teepees, domes, tents) and they’re all positioned throughout the woods to feel secluded.
Lovely off grid yurt by a stream
Just far away from the other site for complete privacy. All the amenities you could want. Camp stove, propane fire pit, propane heater in the yurt, hammock, and swimming hole with a nice little water fall further up the stream.
Wood fired tub right next to the swimming hole worth the extra money.
Dog friendly, just know that your dog will get wet and muddy lol.
Intermittent 3g with Verizon. But you should be off grid while here anyway!
Will be back.
This was the first stop on our honeymoon road trip up the coast and what a special place to start. The yurt felt as if it were a 5 star resort in an oak grove. Very accessible to downtown Santa Barbara. Harmony was a great host and more than accommodating. We will definitely be back!
Location was beautiful, Harmony was super responsive and easy to communicate with. The yurt was very clean and had everything you needed!
I did get a little confused during the hike to the waterfall.
Unique, beautiful and very remote.
Absolutely incredible. Remote, secluded and off the grid. A really magical place. Worth it for the private waterfall alone. Like discovering something unseen by anyone else. The yurt is modern and very comfortable and the campgrounds are rustic and primitive. Perfect combination. A mountain stream runs though the property and the wood burning hot tub is a must. The road to get there is a bit treacherous so an AWD vehicle is highly recommended. You’re not likely going to make it in a sedan. We even had some trouble getting out with our SUV though ultimately made it. Plan ahead and enjoy one of the most unique experiences you’ll ever have. They even have a friendly dog that likes to hang out with you.
Great private yurt and campground
Beautiful yurt in a private campground, and your own private hiking trails along a creek. We were greeted and guided by a camp dog, named Django, who helped us navigate the grounds. Would definitely come back!
Amazing campsite SO close to Santa Barbara. The water hole was spectacular, I didn’t get any poison oak on the easy 30-45 min hike. The campsite is well organized and easy to pick up and go with all of the amenities provided. The yurt was cozy and fancy
