Great host, we showed up when it was dark out and he was on the campground patrolling and directed us to our site. Will definitely go again with a larger group!

Super relaxing campsite and set up. We had a great stay. The big tent is comfy and cozy And the fire pit, stars, and secluded location made it pretty amazing

We stayed in the yurt/permanent tent and it was the best. It had incredible views, our dogs were able to have acres to roam. Jim was a great host. He greeted us shortly after we arrived to a very well appointed campground.
Would definitely recommend to any of my friends looking for a great place to disconnect, stare at more stars than you can believe exist and enjoy the best of California

Beautiful Night Sky
Even on the 4th of July dead silent.
The Host really left us prepared with anything we would probably need for a camping trip.

The Glampout on Songdog Ranch was a fantastic place to stay! Our dog wore herself out chasing bunnies up and down the hills!

The tent was very comfortable, and well appointed. We put our own sleeping mat on top of the one that was provided so that it was extra cushy. There were pillows, a comfortor, and a sleeping mat provided. The "luke warm" tub (as opposed to a hot tub was absolutely perfect for the 95 degree afternoon! The outhouse was clean and not a long walk. There was firewood, lighter fluid, and matches provided for the fire ring.

We cooked on the grate over the fire. There was a box of supplies provided that included a non-stick pan, spatula, plastic utensils, paper plates, salt and pepper, a pot for heating water, paper towels, a cutting board, a knife, and other essentials.

I worried about letting the dog roam free because of rattle snakes, but we didn't see or hear any sign of them in our walks.

There were coyotes at night in the area, although they didn't come into camp.
