Description
Located approximately 11.6 miles west of Kirby, Arkansas, the Star of the West Recreation Area & Campground is an interesting place for hikers and nature-lovers. Bare rock outcroppings contrast with the tall pines along the shore, and located on the Little Missouri River in the foothills of the Ouachita Mountains, the crystal clear lake is great for scuba divers. Not to mention, the many coves and inlets provide excellent areas for fishing and water skiing.
