It is also close to the campsite Toilet 'Thunderbox'. If booking with a group, site 5 works beautifully when booked with nearby Site 8 for a shared stay under the stars. Yarrabah Country Farm "The Outback"

The Outback- Site 8

We stayed on site 8, "The Outback" over the WA Day long weekend (yes the weekend of the massive storm 😳), and although the weather was against US, and the other brave souls who stayed, we cannot fault the Jarrett's and the camp ground. We were in our caravan, so were spared the worst of the rain and wind, but the sites seemed to cope well. The "Thunderbox" was great and well serviced, and the firepit, although a little tight for our campoven, was perfect for a winter getaway. We had a great time taking in local attractions, walk trails, and sampling some delicious food, we highly recommend a trip into Byford to "Honey's" for some amazing sweet treats 😋 Thankyou to Tracey and her family for a well run, conveniently located, picturesque getaway and we look forward to our next visit to "Yarrabah High Country Farm" 😊👍 Tate & Sherrilee B

Mixed feelings. Location is close to perth and is a quick getaway. However host is not really available. I had a complaint about noisy guests and did not receive any reply nor any action. Not really for families. More suited for adults.

The High Perch- Site 2

Everything was great! There were quite a few other campers but I didn’t hear a single other person, not a sound. Everyone was so respectful and enjoying the quiet and nature. Fire pits are provided which makes for the perfect camping experience. The toilet was better than I expected. We had site 2 which I recommend. There’s a nice little signed bush walk too. A great little spot not far from the city.

Great spot easy to get to. Would definitely come back. Amazing night sky for being so close to the city! A wee safety tip though for visitors though, the hill getting up to the site is pretty steep, so if you're coming in, stop have an assess and don't gun it up the hill, it will reduce the dust for other campers.

Great little spot not far from Perth. Easy to get to, no fuss just pull up to your campsite. My young kids were entertained by the toilet ('thunderbox') - pulling the lever and pressing the hand pump. Very thankful to the host Tracey who even helped me out of a tight spot when my car wouldn't start the next morning! Also recommend checking out the Pink Lady cafe & gift shop only ~10 minutes away.

Close enough to Perth with lovely coastal sunset view and great night sky / stargazing!! The sites are closer together than preferred, but during our stay only a few other campers. Tracey was very quick to reply on questions and the firewood upon arrival was great to start a nice campfire. THANK YOU!!

Spent a couple of wonderfull nights at Tracey’s hip camp. The whole area was clean and well laid out. Very close to the Jarrahdale Tavern which does a good pub lunch. Camp toilet was a nice extra for a Hipcamp and very clean inside. Will be back thats for sure.

Wow, Close to Fremantle but far away enough to get a much deserved reset. Took our dog, had firewood delivered and we just stopped. Toilet was super clean, site was perfect. Other guests were super friendly. We will definitely be coming back. A massive thankyou to the owners of this property.

We stayed in Typsy Gumtree (Site 9). Lovely site! No. 8 is close but we weren`t disturbed at all. Nice little Hipcamp overall with a really lovely bushwalk. Close to the Heritage town of Jarrahdale (tavern there too), IGA in Mundijong and Coles and bigger shops in Byford (9 mins drive).

It was a great space to escape the city, plenty to explore on the bushwalk, camp spots were more than spacious for everyone, the use of the camp fire pit was great, the toilet was clean and stocked!! Easy to find and instructions prior to arrival were easy to follow. We purchased some fire wood which was absolutely perfect.

Lovely night spent after hiking Kittys Gorge. Site was very stony. Fine for caravan but harder for camping friends. Very windy overnight (again fine for the caravaners!) Lovely view and sunset from our “sunset” site.

The Outback- Site 8

Beautiful night had. Thank you for sharing your land and allowing my daughter and I a quick camp out and fire. Bring able to bring dog is always appreciated. Very simple set up with nice little toilet and fire out provided. The wood being there when arrived was super appreciated. Little bush walk and railway line is a good distraction before lighting up fire and having a lovely chill under the stars. Plot is reasonable sized but some are quite close to each other. Not a problem as the people there were all very chill and respectful of each other's desire for some quiet time in the bush. Have a look at the map and judge where you can get your own space if desired. Thanks again and will be back.

1 hour from Perth, Great camping location, with view over coastal plane and sunset. Sites have plenty space, we were able to have small fire. Great location to explore the area...and the dog loved it!

Jarrah Heights- Site 6

Tracey delivers an excellent experience starting with timely and responsive communication. The campsites are well maintained and “The Thunderbox” is a nice touch. The campsites are far enough apart to feel like you have your own space, with a few sites close enough together if you’re travelling with friends. There’s a lovely bushwalk track to explore and lots of great photo opportunities down near the old railway tracks. The views to the west are spectacular and if you’re lucky to get a good sunset, this is the perfect spot. You will need a 4WD to get up and down the gravel hill if you’re towing any weight.

Star Canopy- Site 5

We had a lovely stay here with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. The thunderbox was clean and super handy, which made the stay very comfortable. While the sites are a little closer together than some other Hipcamp spots and being on the hillside meant we needed to do a bit of extra levelling, it didn’t take away from the experience. Overall, it’s a relaxing place to stay and a great base to enjoy the surrounding scenery. I reccommend.

My partner and I booked one night at city lights and had an amazing time. The place is beautiful and had a really nice view. So nice having a camping place only 20 mins from our home. Makes it so easy for us to escape the work life and destress from it all anytime we like. We had such a relaxing time. It rained in the morning so we weren't able to do the bush walk but that's okay, it was so nice having coffee while listening to the rain and having a nice view.
