One thousand feet of creek side camping, featuring an active Bald Eagle nest and spa-like amenities make Kearney Creek Retreat a unique, comfortable, and relaxing get-away for family and friends. Cold plunge in the creek, commune with our bee colony, view the eagle family, and try to find our parrot, Hercules, in the magnificent walnut tree that our great-grandmother planted over 100 years ago. Along the creek, you will find conveniences such as two cooking grills, a fire pit and benches, a sink with a rubble drain, pavers to the creek, and lots of space to set up your lawn games, tent, or RV. Heated outdoor showers, a six-person hot tub, an additional fire pit with seating, and a well-appointed outhouse dot the camp boundary and ensure that you will enjoy all the comforts while making great memories. Midway between Portland and Seattle, Kearney Creek is just 20 minutes off I-5 and 20 minutes from numerous boating, fishing, and swimming opportunities. We are just 90 minutes to Mt St Helen's, Mt Rainier, the Pacific Coast, and the Eastside so make this your base camp and go play! P.S. Your friendly neighbor to the south is my sister Shannon. She works from home so you may see her pass through her backyard from time to time. Please split the yard with her and remain on your side? She'll do the same for you. When you book the campground you and your group will enjoy a relaxing backdrop for whatever you most enjoy doing. Camp anywhere along the lovely stretch of field, trees and creek. A fire pit with seating, two BBQ grills, and a sink with a rubble drain have been set up for your convenience. There are solid steps down to the water and lots of space to set up your tent or RV. There is a well-appointed outhouse near the walnut tree for your use and a water hose and electrical outlet on the patio. Please feel free to enjoy the patio furniture and fire pit--there's a nice view of the eagle's nest from there so bring your binoculars. If you book the patio along with the campground, you will also enjoy exclusive access to the hot tub, dry sauna, cold plunge, and heated outdoor showers. Kearney Creek is a small stream, it moves quickly enough to babble but also provides a relaxing environment with small swimming holes for young children to play in or for adults to sit in:)

Huge space for our large group! Beautiful area with ample shade. So great to explore the property and everything it had to offer! Very easy to communicate with the hosts who were incredible and very accommodating. We’ll definitely be back!

Kearney Creek Retreat

Kearney Creek is an absolute gem of a camping spot. Great for big groups, so family friendly, nice shaded areas, and the spa patio area with the hot tub and showers was such a nice luxurious touch to the tent camping. The kids had a great time exploring the shallow creek and running through the mowed trails between the spa patio area and the creek/area where we had our tents. This was a wonderful inbetween spot for our family to come together and celebrate.

Summer’s property was perfect for our family! It was private, with lots of options for shade and sun. Our kids loved cooling off in the creek. We look forward to finding an excuse to come back.

Kearney Creek Retreat

The site had lots of space to spread out! Could stay near the outhouse and hot tub or at the other end closer to the fire pit and creek (we opted for the latter). Summer was extra communicative and kind, making sure we had everything we needed. We played lots of lawn games, enjoyed throwing pebbles in the shallow creek, and loved watching the birds and even the eagle in its nest! Would definitely return.

Tent camping next to the creek, while viewing the eagles nest on the property, was really special. The hot tub and outdoor showers were wonderful. Would love to visit again!

My family and I have a wonderful time! Plenty of room to camp and be comfortable. The hot tub was an added bonus. Both hosts were wonderful and answered all questions I had leading up to our trip. I would most definitely recommend for family to enjoy. Thank you summer & Shannon.

Kearney Creek Retreat

Camping at Kearney Creek was great! The hot tub was very clean and large enough for our large group, the showers had hot water and the pressure was great, and the outhouse was clean! The hot tub, showers, and bathroom are close to the house, but they were far enough off to the side to where we couldn’t look in. There was a nice sink setup where you can bring your jugs of water for dishes, and a really nice area for the campfire. There was a small creek running along where we camped which was a nice spot to dip our feet in and for the dogs to cool off! We chose this spot for my husbands birthday weekend, and it was perfect! Summer was extremely responsive, and Shannon greeted us when we arrived, and even let us use folding tables they had. They were great hosts, and we would definitely stay again!
