We absolutely love this spot! Very private and great views. It poured rain and was very windy this weekend, but we hunkered down, watched movies and read- it was just what we needed! The only downside was getting into the spot. The directions are not clear that you need to back down into the spot- so when you get to the “driveway” you need to back down and it is a little steep. Unfortunately, even though I had read other reviews, we didn’t realize this point & ended up needing to back up onto the main road in 4wd (and luckily we have an F-350- our previous truck would not have been able to handle this even with 4wd). Make sure you assess before you head to the spot.

The View is beautiful. Compared to a campground it is hands down the better option! The site is at the top of the owners driveway so there is some coming and going but overall was very quiet. You can't beat the views and I bet in the summer with the lake so close it is phenomenal. We would stay again for sure.

Perfect! We had the most perfect weekend at Laura’s. We have a 30 ft trailer that we are fairly new with, so if you are a newbie, practice patience while backing into the site. We learned and swore a lot, but it was SO worth it. Sincerely, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thank you, Laura!

We loved our weekend stay on Laura's property! The lake views were exceptional, and our hosts made a point of giving us a very kind welcome. They were very conscientious about giving us and our dogs space, resulting in a very quiet and calm stay. Lots of beauty to enjoy in Mossyrock!

Site was great once we were in it. With us being a 35ft fifth wheel the angle getting in and out of the spot was a bit steep so definitely needed a spotter to make sure the truck bed did not hit the 5th wheel bed. It was worth it once we were in the spot.
So private and peaceful. Lovely view of Riffe Lake.
I love the state parks but having all this space to ourselves is unbeatable!

We love the site and the drive to the site was really pretty. We did a walk to Riffe Lake which was very easy and nice. The owners were very nice and friendly.

Property was very private with beautiful view of lake had 30 amp power hook up and water supply to accommodate our 35’ A class . Hosts were great they delivered our eggs and fire wood definitely recommend !!!

The site is quiet and peaceful, surrounded by trees with a great view of the lake below. Lots of different birds to listen to and visits from deer. Plenty of good hiking options nearby that we took advantage of.

The moment we arrived, we knew we made the right choice. Laura's place is set in a well maintained, quiet, gated community. The camp sight feels secluded and private, while offering a level spot for any camper. If you are looking for a serene place to chill out, while enjoying the sun and the sounds of nature, this is your place. Cell service works well enough for downloading but not enough for streaming.
Bonus, there are good walking trails in the local area. You can visit Mt. St. Helen's in roughly an hours drive or travel to Mt. Rainier in about 1.5 hours.
I would highly recommend Laura's place. She and her family were welcoming to sharing their property while ensuring space and privacy. If we are back in this area, we will definitely stay again.

Beautiful campsite overlooking Riffe Lake! We really enjoyed the views, proximity to town and surrounding trails and hikes like Swofford Flats and Mossyrock Park. Ike Kinswa State Park was about a 25 minute drive that had a fantastic trail by the river. Laura was so hospitable and made sure we had everything we needed. The site is private and spacious which was great for our
doggies! We look forward to coming back!

Our family had a wonderful stay at this beautiful property! The site is roomy and private and the grounds were well kept. Our dog loved having room to run and there was space for bike riding for littles, we well. The view and peace and quiet made this our new favorite getaway spot. The host was super friendly and accommodating. We can’t wait to go back for our next adventure!

Great spot for relaxing and taking in the beauty of Riffe lake! Wonderful hosts, easy in and out. Spigot and electric right next to sight and level very large site. Would and will definitely stay there again!

We had a wonderful time! The view was amazing! Very private and peaceful. We arrived to some fresh chicken eggs and a buddle of wood. They was very helpful and even helped us dump our tanks in the pouring rain. The power went out due to a storm and they offered the generator for us to use. Amazing hosts! Definitely will be back next year.

It was very peaceful and beautiful there. We enjoyed our stay there. The view was gorgeous. I loved watching the paragliders every evening. The sweetest momma deer came by every evening with her two babies. The shooting stars was one of my favorites.

This site was absolutely beautiful. The view was breathtaking and Laura took great care of us. There was plenty of communication and she was available if we needed anything but once we were settled, the site was very private. Plus she provided a good amount of wood for the fire and some farm fresh eggs. We will definitely be coming back. This place was an absolute gem!! Highly recommend.

While exploring the Mossyrock area, we stumbled upon Laura and Ricky’s place. The natural beauty, tranquility, and breathtaking view of Riffe Lake from Green Mountain are truly amazing! Laura and Ricky were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and considerate. They kindly prepared s’mores for us and were willing to accommodate any request to make our stay more convenient and comfortable. We felt completely safe during our two-night stay at their site.
The entrance to the driveway is on a slope, offering a stunning lake view as you drive in. This back-in site is still under development but can easily accommodate RVs up to 40 feet long. With our 24-foot RV, we had plenty of space for an outdoor kitchen and table setup. The ground is covered in gravel and fairly level, so we didn’t need to level our RV. However, those traveling in trailers or larger rigs should be prepared for some tight turns, as the slope from the entrance to the site faces from left to right (towards the lake view).
The water pressure was excellent, but we recommend using a water regulator. Keep in mind that there are only 15-amp plugs available, so be sure to bring an adapter. Overall, we highly recommend a visit to this site and are already looking forward to staying again soon!
