We arrived later than expected while remaining in communication with host. Upon arrival they let us know they turned the lights on for us, which was great. He helped us start the propane fire pit, which was wonderful.
The airstream is absolutely adorable and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. There was WiFi, delicious well water, hot shower, clean bathroom, soft yet also firm bed, TV which we didn’t use, books and games to enjoy our time.
Would’ve loved to stay a couple more nights. Highly recommend watching the host’s video that completely explains all in great details.
Recommend it to anyone looking for something fun and funky to stay at.
We really enjoyed our time at fern gully. There's a nice little hiking trail on the property with open areas to relax and just enjoy the peace and quiet. Staying in the Airstream was great and is convenient to lots of wilderness areas to hike in. Brad was very responsive and attentive to our needs. Thanks for a great stay.

Brad's airstream was the perfect getaway! We love Vashon and felt well accommodated. We hope to visit again in the summer!
We had such a beautiful stay in the airstream. Surrounded by nature and a sweet island to explore. We will be back!

Brad's airstream was perfect for a weekend getaway. The camper itself is really beautifully setup and the site is super private with some fern lined forest trails for exploring. If you are looking for a place to stay on Vashon, I highly recommend staying here!

Fern Gully Airstream Retreat
We had a great time! The airstream was comfortable and cozy and the property was beautiful (very comfortable bed!). The trail by the campsite was fairly short, so we spent some of our time exploring Vashon Island instead of sticking to the campsite the whole weekend.
Perfection! This Airstream is beautiful and very well appointed. Tucked away for enough privacy. Pet friendly with a walking path that winds through the woods. The hosts were wonderful. It was a great place for a weekend getaway. Thank you for having us!
Brad is very friendly and his little retreat is as nice as it shown on the pictures! Very close to town, we enjoyed our weekend getaway in Vashon Island and tried their local restaurants and cider tasting room. It is our first time visiting the island and am amazed by the vibe there. Everyone is so chill and enjoying life! By staying a night save us from rushing back to the ferry and can truly enjoy our time. Highly recommend!
We enjoyed so many things about this unique stay. Thw things that stood our the moat however was, the host humor. We found this within funny little framed saying in the bathroom. We also explored some new board games. One called exploding kitties, so different and fun and the other was the coffee. We are a bit of coffee snobs! On that note, don't miss visiting the Vashon Roasterie!
The bed was very comfortable, as well as the pillows. And the weight of the extra blankets made it feel like home. Having dimmable lights was a treat, as we enjoy waking and ending our day to natural light. Speaking of that, we also really loved all the skylights and rounded windows to admire the forest that wrapped us while we were inside, and how it offered all the incents of Cedar and Alder when we were walking the short trails around the trailer.
We would highly recommend this stay! Winter was nice and we can only imagine how some of the extras would have bonus our stay if weather didn't permit!

What a treat! A beautiful wooded location and decked out trailer. Super clean, private feeling, warm and cozy.
A peaceful and beautiful location that was beautiful decorated, spotlessly clean, and well supplied with all the essentials. The hosts were friendly and professional. We can not recommend this location enough. It was lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at Brad’s property. The airstream had so many thoughtful details, truly everything you could want during a trip, and it was so cozy and lovely to look out the windows and be surrounded by woods. The property is beautiful and private, but also close and easy to get to anywhere you’d want to go on Vashon. Brad is a super kind and responsive host. Definitely would recommend this spot!

Brad made a wonderful little home away from home for travelers. It was well furnished, secluded, with a cute trail leading to the ravine and a nice bowl of berries left as welcome. He was even so kind as to offer recommendations for local attractions.
We had some last minute changes to our plan, arrived late, and Brad was very accommodating.
My partner and I can’t wait to visit again when she gets back.

Hands down one of the best spots I've ever stayed. I think a lot of us can relate to being in a rental that has never actually been lived in or loved, and you can feel it, those places are lifeless. This spot on the other hand is such a breath of fresh air. It's all the little details that made staying here so enjoyable - every item is high quality, functional, and well-loved. The decor has such personality. On top of that Brad is a wonderful and attentive host. Would love to come back again sometime!
We loved our weekend getaway from Seattle on this property. The hosts were great and the airstream was very cozy. It felt very nestled into the woods, with green out every window and still a very short drive into the main strip in town.
This place was great. The airstream was cozier than expected and the surroundings were fantastic. I recommend snacks and drinks from the grocery store because Vashon has nothing going on after 8. Also you might get lucky here and meet the puppies.
Absolutely loved our stay, we would definitely recommend!

Fern Gully Airstream Retreat
I love the airstream and the seclusion it was an amazing stay.
We loved everything about Brad’s Airstream getaway. We needed a break from the hustle and bustle from the city and Brad’s property was exactly what we were looking for. Our four legged family enjoyed exploring the trails around the land and loved cuddling up in the cozy Airstream. All the shops and restaurants were super close and Brad was a great helpful host. We will definitely be back.

I LOVED our stay in Brad’s airstream! We had the most amazing time on vashon in this adorable airstream. From the cute decor, to the amazing private and secluded campsite- it was exactly what we needed for a great stay on the island. The airstream had it all— we own an airstream too and got so many great ideas staying in Brad’s rig. The location was perfect, so close to everything, great restaurants, coffee shops and the hiking trails. We will definitely be back! Thanks Brad for an awesome stay on the island!
The Airstream was perfect! Brad was a wonderful host. The space was clean, secluded, and cozy, just as advertised. I stayed in early November, the heat worked well and the bedding was plenty warm. There's a great coffee set up (for those coffee snobs, like me), so you're sure to get your caffeine right. The trails around the Airstream were a lovely way to spend the morning before heading out. I'll definitely be back!

Brad’s Fern Gully Airstream was absolutely perfect for our brief stay. We were just a short stroll from the Vashon Coop, the evening’s destination, and then enjoyed a great bike ride in the morn, and finally, a good swift hike through the trails at Shinglemill Creek Preserve after we checked out. Brad has created a delightfully private and tranquil location, with all the creature comforts intact. We felt thoroughly spoiled. We are already planning our return!

We loved the location and space! It was perfect for a little retreat in the woods. The airstream is comfortable, clean, and a great escape. Brad was super helpful and responsive. Can't wait for the next visit.
