‘Cannavale’ is a working beef cattle property with quiet cattle, sheep, horses and farm dogs. Situated less than 2 minutes off the Princes Freeway on a “No through Rd” our farm stay offers a safe secluded spot to park up overnight or to stay a little longer to check out local attractions. Cannavale farm stay offers a great spot to escape the ‘busy’ of city life for awhile. Go for a walk down a quiet country road, walk through the open grassy paddocks amongst the cows or sit and admire the beautiful Gippsland countryside, the options are endless! ‘Cannavale’ offers a variety of pet friendly camping, caravan/RV sites in an easy access open style camping area of approximately 2acres, with minimal levelling needed to setup for your stay. An open grassy area has been fenced off to offer what we feel is some of the most picturesque views of our property with stunning views of Mt Cannibal and across the valley to the Baw Baw ranges. Stay with us to experience our peaceful farm lifestyle while enjoying the magnificent valley views to Mount Cannibal, Bunyip State Forrest and beyond. Sit quietly with a drink while watching the sunset over the dam to the beautiful Bunyip State Forest in the distance - breathtaking! Also central to many local eateries and tourist attractions such as Gumbya World, the old Garfield Picture Theatre, Sherwood Park Orchard and Cafe, Cannibal Creek Winery, Cannibal Creek Bakery in Garfield and Soul Sisters Cafe in Longwarry to name a few. Lots to explore in this gorgeous part of West Gippsland! To top off a great time outdoors we offer 3 of Australia’s best butcher shops all within 10 minutes drive. Nothing tastes better on the BBQ than locally sourced grass fed beef. Just ask Craig the “BBQ Boss”. You’ll have everyone wanting to join you! *Horse Riding friends - Cannavale is also located within easy driving distance to Bunyip State Forrest(15mins), Nangara Reserve(15mins) and Tonimbuk Equestrian Center(5mins). Please ask for more details of places to ride if this is for you. For your convenience Bunyip IGA and Bunyip train station are also located within a short drive. Site 1 - Offers a peaceful, shady campsite with sunrise paddock views. Offering a backdrop along our country road with mature trees for shade and privacy, allowing you to enoy breakfast around the campfire, a pleasant spot to put the picnic table under the gum tree. This spot is a great place to listen to the wind through the leaves, hear the sound of our local birdlife and the sound of the animals on the farm.

An open campsite with a small shade tree to pull-up beside that offers an uninterrupted view across the valley and up to Mt Cannibal, the beautiful Bunyip State Forest and mountains in the distance. Sit beside your campsite watching the local birdlife land in front of you on the dam. Farm life at its best! Listen to the local wood ducks as they bath in the shallows, spot the Gang Gang parrots, black cockatoos, king parrots and eastern Rosellas as they make their way down the tree line to Baw Baw National Park. A magnificent spot to see watch the sky full with uninterrupted colours as the sunsets behind Mt Cannibal.

An easy access camp site positioned alongside our shelter, make use of the shelter to cook your dinner or place your chairs under the open sky to watch the sunset over the farm, either way you'll enjoy the peace, quiet and fresh air. If you're looking for somewhere to park the van while you go sightseeing for the day or take the kids to Gumbya World (only 5 minutes away), this is the spot for you. Watch the sheep are grazing in the dam paddock next door while having your morning cuppa or venture out onto the jetty over the dam.

Site 3 - Clear Horizons
Loved the views! Shelly & Craig were so kind and offered for us to walk around the property if we wished. The one paddock with 4 spots gives you enough room to spread out and enjoy your site to yourself still. The sunset over the mountains was a cherry on top! We'd definitely stay again in the future.

My mate and I had such an amazing time staying here and felt so welcome the entire time we were there, our hosts were so polite and great to chat too, the scenery was just spectacular. We will be back!!

Absolutely beautiful spot!! Can’t thank Shelly and Craig enough. Great location close to towns for a sneaky pub meal. Unbelievable sunsets and we were entertained by the cows. We’ll be back!

Absolutely loved our time at Shelly and Craig's land. Easy access, beautiful views, and amazing hosts. Lots of animals and walks to keep you busy, but the peace and quiet offers a nice relaxing getaway. Sitting around the fire, watching the sunset was a highlight. We will definitely be back!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Canna Vale Farm Stay, hosted by the amazing Shelly and Craig. From the moment we arrived, they made us feel so warm and welcome – nothing was ever too much trouble. We were lucky enough to enjoy a tour around the farm, where we got up close and friendly with the animals, which was such a highlight. The property itself is stunning, with beautiful views in every direction. The location is fantastic and easy to find, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. Shelly and Craig are some of the friendliest and most genuine hosts we’ve ever met, and their passion for what they do shines through. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already planning our next visit. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will definitely be back again!

Thankyou for an amazing stay, the views were stunning.So peaceful and relaxing especially after the massage, what an added bonus being able to have a massage while on holidays. We will be back and next time I will book in for a reading,thx again for sharing your little piece of paradise with us.
