The views were absolutely stunning and made the perfect backdrop for a peaceful getaway. The property itself is beautifully maintained, with plenty of space to relax and enjoy nature. The host was so accommodating and friendly, they really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s one of those places that instantly makes you feel relaxed and grateful to have found it. Highly recommend and would love to come back again!

I had a lovely couple of nights up at Sunset Ridge! The first night was quite windy but that’s expected in Springtime in the hills. Everything was SO green, every walk we went on was incredible views. The campsite is lovely and secluded, you wouldn’t even know there was anyone else on the property. My dog found the dam on the last morning and enjoyed a cool off. Being able to have her off lead made the experience that much more enjoyable for both of us. Paul was great to deal with too! 😊

Let me preface this by saying the location is stunning. We walked down to the Sunset Hill spot (we were the only guests) and WOW, it would be an incredible spot to camp at. Once we are better equipped for off-grid we will definitely be booking this spot for a future trip.
We ended up having a nice time, but be prepared for A LOT of levelling. We weren’t actually able to camp at the spot we booked due to the terrain - our van is old and low, but I think it would be a challenge for most. The spot itself is down a small hill and does flatten out slightly, however there wouldn’t be much “flat” space left after your camper/tent is set up, so any tables, chairs etc would be on a hill (or on the driveway). We ended up camping near/at the other powered site and thankfully had two very long extension leads to still have power.
One plus is that the fencing is somewhat decent if you have dogs, although you’d need to shut the front gate (we shut it given we were the only ones there, but I don’t know if this would be possible with other bookings). The powered sites are very close to the front gate/road, which for us wasn’t an issue but may be a consideration for others.
Again, highly recommend going without power hookup and booking Sunset Hill.

Great quiet and secluded location. Lots of fallen trees for extra firewood if needed. Good access for non 4x4 cars. Dogs loved it. Thanks Paul

One great view and thats about it .. close to a road (50m away) and the estate is on sale.. which makes camping weird as ppl stop by to look at the signage .. what was annoying was the security camera

We had a great Easter Weekend at Sunset Hill. Visited by Kangaroos, a wombat , wedged tailed eagles and an alpaca! Nice quiet spot, with plenty of space. Ideal location to explore the area, Great communication from our host. Overall met our expectations, we’ll be back !

Loved our stay at Sunset Hill! A big, secluded site with gorgeous views from every angle and ample shade for the hot days. The nearby dam was perfect for the dogs to cool off, and Paul's communication was top notch!

We booked this campsite last minute based on fantastic photos in the listing, but arrived to discover campsite is literally a patch next to driveway, otherwise only 45° slope between a shed and what looked like a septic tank. The main photo for this listing is not part of the site AT ALL. All photos onsite taken deceptively to imply privacy instead of showing very nearby house and road. Host Paul was UNREACHABLE. He did not provide the fire pit we paid extra for, so we couldn’t even make use of the site, but our request for even a partial refund of the two nights we paid for was met with rude condescension comparing campsite listing to a HOTEL BROCHURE 🙄 AVOID!

Easy to find. Lovely place with great views over the valley on one side and nature and garden on the other. Very quiet. We saw kangaroos in the morning. Had the power side booked but will book the sunset spot next time for an even more remote camping spot.

The location was terrific, spectacular views. More suitable for smaller vans or camper trailers, ours was 18’6.
Leveling our van was a challenge. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a very relaxing & enjoyable 2 nights over new years at the very tranquil Home Tree site with our 2 dogs.
Heaps of butterflies and beautiful views made it relaxing with plenty of birdlife around, including a pair of eagles.
The site is reasonably flat (for the top of a hill) and could easily accomade a few camper trailers/hybrid caravans one behind the other, with room out front for sitting and enjoying the fire!
Entry to the site is down a track, probably best suited to a 4x4, especially after rain where it could be slippery.
Plenty of firewood lying around, a little dam for the dogs to enjoy a swim, and the area had good phone reception.
Paul provided detailed instructions and local tips info sheets for our stay.
Will definitely be back for another de-stressing weekend.
