Crystal Creek offers a serene camping experience surrounded by nature's best, with kangaroos and wallabies frequently spotted hopping around. Guests consistently praise the cleanliness and maintenance of the amenities, including spotless kitchens and bathrooms. The hosts, Gayleen, Pete, and Terry, receive high marks for their warmth and willingness to help, enhancing the welcoming atmosphere. With peaceful spots and the convenience of a nearby bakery and cafe, it's a relaxing escape for those looking to unwind in a natural setting.
Gayleen, Pete, and Terry were incredible hosts! This spot has easily topped my camping list. I have to give a special shoutout to how clean the kitchen and bathrooms were ,it’s rare to find facilities this spotless, and it was the absolute cherry on top of a wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
Was very welcomed here at Crystal Creek. Facilities were spotless and campsites were clean. The occasional kangaroo would hop past our campsite.
I recommend and would come again
Nice little campground. Lots of kangaroo's.
Toilets and showers are decent and clean, as is the camp kitchen.
Go for the unpowered spots if you can. Up where the powered sites are, it feels more like a long stay caravan park, partially because it is.
Second time staying here now, absolutely love it. Always see so much wildlife and super relaxing, quiet and tidy camp. The owners are super friendly and accommodating, would definitely recommend!
It was a gorgeous spot in the forest with lots of wallabies and birds all around. Clean kitchen and bathroom. A fascinating community with a great cafe and bakery to enjoy.
Lovely place for camping and staying close to wildlife. Crystal Waters is a co-operative permaculture area where you find lovely people and cute lots.
Also great atmosphere at the Bakery and Cafe area.
Fantastic campsite! We absolutely loved our stay here. The environment is incredibly natural and relaxing, making it the perfect getaway. What impressed us most was that despite the rustic nature vibes, the facilities are top-notch, very well-equipped, and kept spotlessly clean. Highly recommended!
Our camp site was gorgeous - had a great view, own firepit, super close to all the amenities (kitchen, toilet, shower). Got super close to lots of kangaroos that were free to hop amongst the park. Just a short walk from the local bakery where the locals were so lovely! The host was so welcoming and made sure we were looked after.
Fantastic way to get away from life ... so peaceful. Lovely chap running the office. Facilties were spotless! Very impressed. Fantastic value for money.
See you again soon
This is truly a hidden gem. If you are looking for a no frills but super chilled and very friendly accommodating place to stay that allows you to be up close and personal with the kangaroos and wallabies that call this tranquil place home then this is for you. The facilities are well maintained, clean and perfect for a few nights. Peter and Gaylene are just gorgeous and the baker on site does the BEST pizza's. We loved our stay and it is really for those who love nature .
It was such a nice relaxing place with very well kept amenities and grounds. All the locals where very welcoming. The local Cafe was walking distance and 10/10.
If you want to see roos and wallaby's up close then come stay here! Quiet, and peaceful with abundant wildlife. Its worth checking out when the bakery/cafes are open (lovely shared community vibe) as well as their monthly market (which we missed). Amenities block was clean and well kept and the caravan site was good.
Beautiful camp ground. So many kangaroos around! There is no signal for several km around the area so make sure you download maps before you visit. Clean bathrooms and kitchen. Would stay again
Easy access from Ahern Road, shady camp sites, hot showers and well equipped shared kitchen. Easy access to common green for tasty pizza, community and music on Friday night.
This was a lovely and relaxing campsite. I went with a group of friends and we all had a lovely time! All the workers were super helpful, very friendly, and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The showers and toilets were newly renovated (showers have hot water too) and everywhere was very clean. I’ll definitely be going back!
I loved my time here, everything you could need to cook with is available as well as wifi, showers and flushing toilets. Pete was very helpful and made me feel safe and welcome. I'll definitely be back :)
I enjoyed camping at Crystal Waters. The hosts were welcoming and the directions were clear. We enjoyed sitting by the fire and it was very convenient with all the amenities. Would definitely go back
Beautifully peaceful, great facilities, great price, friendly helpful staff. Kangaroos and wallabies everywhere. Was very quiet with few other campers while I was there. Hope to go back.
Really beautiful site and community, felt so welcoming and didn’t want to leave. Would highly recommend. Pete Gaylene and Faye were all so helpful and lovely as well as all the locals there
Lovely, quiet nature reserve, amazing staff, thank you Pete for the amazing service. Clean amenities, cafe down the road, lots of walks and an amazing camp kitchen.
