My great grandfather sold this property to his son Edgar, $1.25 acre in 1926. He was 16 years old and getting married, they raised 7 children in a one room cabin on this property and life was hard. Grampa cut wood, worked in a mine in Chattanooga, made moonshine, and anything else to feed his family. There's 200 acres here still in the family, most can be used to explore and camp on.

Henson Cove has been family owned for 150 years, there's over 150 acres here to be used. A large stocked pond to fish in and many trails to walk. Surrounded on three sides by mountain ridges, and in the middle of several National Forests. We are less than 30 min. to all kinds of stuff, white water rafting, winery's, orchards, a casino in Murphy and much more. Were in the middle of McCaysville, Murphy and Blue Ridge only 20 mins. from each!

12x12 tent pad, 120 ac,,flushing toilet, shower. A large stocked pond, over 150 acres to explore and more. This property has been in our family for over 100 years. A beautiful cove or some call it a Holler in the middle of some mountains. Just 20 minutes away from Blue Ridge, Murphy and MaCaysville. We have less than 6 sites, could have alot more but we do not want to many people in here. This way we have our privacy too.

This is a beautiful Primitive site with only one way in. There's a picnic table and a new firering with a cooking grate, no other people or traffic. Its by a spring fed creek that feeds our pond, and many tall trees. It's about a quarter mile trail that leads into this Paradise, we can help by carrying some of your supplies in with our side by side. There's a stocked pond to fish and trails to walk and much more nearby!

My great grandfather Carl Henson owned this property 150 years ago, there's still 200 acres left in the family. My wife and i own 50 and have access to 150. There are no homes built in here yet so its very peaceful and private. There's lots of wildlife deer, coyotes, bobcats, turkeys, an occasional black bear and of course Sasquatch! We even have a large stocked pond, you can catch as many as you can eat.

The Eagle R/V at Henson Cove

This camper is located next to a tire swing, that can be used by other campers. It has a beautiful view of our large stocked pond! Next to a creek that you can hear, really helps to fall asleep. There's a large stocked pond to fish and many trails to explore. Almost 200 acres with no houses, privacy!

Great Family Trip to Henson Cove

We just got back from a weekend at Henson Cove and our family had the best time. The place is peaceful, clean, and has that quiet mountain charm that makes you want to stay a little longer. We spent our weekend fishing at the lake and really enjoyed the on-site trails. Evenings by the fire were our favorite. We roasted marshmallows, watched the stars, and enjoyed how quiet it was without all the noise of everyday life. If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing spot to spend time outdoors, Henson Cove is a great choice. We’re already planning to come back.

We loved tent camping at Henson Cove with our three fur children! There was a lot of land for us to hike, fresh water, and a lovely pond to check out. Our dogs enjoyed running around and getting in the water as well. Would highly recommend Henson Cove and hopefully will be visiting again soon. Thank you to Ron and Pat!

Henson Cove is beautiful, relaxing, and a great place to camp! The hosts are very good people, helpful and they assure your stay is pleasant. The pond is very nice & full of bass, cats, bluegill & more. Relax on the island or one of many of the great spots around the lake in peace and quiet. The hiking trails throughout the property bring along cool adventures in the mountains. Ron even took us on a tour in his sxs around the property & too the lake to feed the fish! The flush toilets & electricity make this primitive camping area into a luxury. There is also a very nice shower with hot water. Henson Cove is worth the stay & we will be returning!

Omg it was a great place to stay for the week that we were staying!! Love it will definitely be back, and the host was very nice, friendly and wonderful. Pet friendly which is great!! 100% recommend!!
