Blue Ridge Ranch, established in December of 2020, is located on 440 acres nestled between two mountain ridges in the Blue Ridge Mountains. The property features an established pasture, mountain ridges, barns, and a homestead. In addition, the ranch is home to five ponds (some stocked and one trophy), more than a mile of trout streams, waterfalls, and hiking trails. Together, they provide the perfect foundation for the establishment of farming, livestock, camping, and community events. All profits of Blue Ridge Ranch go to Hope for His Children, Inc., a 501(c)(3) that conducts youth camps at the ranch. Tours of the ranch are available for $10/person and includes interaction with some farm animals. We pride ourselves in doing everything possible to help our guests have a great experience. We offer coffee during morning hours in our farm store! We are sorry, but we are not able to allow guests to bring ATV's and motorcycles to operate on the property. There are many acres of hay that we must protect and our agritourism insurer does not allow guests to operate ATV's and motorcycles on property.

Our overland trailer GLAMPING packages that can be set up on a stocked pond, in a densely wooded area accessible to hiking and ATV trails, on the trout stream - so many options. We are delighted to talk to you about the type of location you would like best. We have roof nest brand sleeping systems and provide just about everything you need, except your clothes and food. We provide a grill, cooler and starter ice, a fire circle and starter firewood, cooking utensils, pots and pans, table and chairs, the works! We love for our guests to tour our 387 acres with us and enjoy all that our property has to offer. Our farm animals can't wait to meet you! Proceeds from camping go to our non-profit that provides youth camps. $150/night, plus 7% NC tax and $50 cleaning fee.

Boon-docking is currently available, as our other hookups are occupied (generators allowed). Come and join us at Blue Ridge Ranch, our 440 acres in the Blue Ridge Mountains. Our property has some pasture and is a working farm with five ponds, waterfalls, and a trout stream. We are dedicated to making sure you have as much privacy and serenity as possible for a memorable experience on the ranch. The number of campers at any given time is managed so guests can enjoy a peaceful stay. The majority of the ranch property is timber with established trails, but there are farm animals; the hosts are happy to introduce you to the animals and tell you about their operations if you wish. The pull-in space can accommodate up to 45 feet on the flat grassy land. Ice and firewood are available to purchase on-site. All proceeds benefit the hosts’ nonprofit 501c3, Hope for His Children, Inc. The town of Boone is about a 30-minute drive and offers several food options, stores, and services. For views of the mountains, check out the Blue Ridge Parkway, about 20 miles north. Mountain bikers might want to check out Rocky Knob Mountain Bike Park, about 30 minutes to the northeast.

Our tipi is custom made in Oregon with hand-painted exterior and interior graphics.  They are meticulously furnished and decorated with the comforts of home, and the peace and tranquility that the mountains offer.  Blue Ridge Ranch consists of 440 acres nestled between two mountain ridges.  Our property features three stocked ponds, a trout stream, and miles of hiking trails.  Proceeds from camping benefit our non-profit organization which offers youth camp programs. Our Geo Tipi glamping package includes 2 queen beds with sheets, blankets, and pillows.  For those who may need we do offer additional cots.  We also provide a propane grill with a stovetop burner, a percolator coffee pot for the grill, an outdoor eating area, a fire-ring, outdoor seating, and a starter supply of firewood.  We provide Igloo with 5 gallons of clean water for washing hands, brushing teeth, and washing dishes, and a food/drink cooler.  We provide plates, cups, utensils, sharp knives, a cutting board, and dish/hand soap.  Each tipi has its own portable toilet that is cleaned and emptied weekly.   When you arrive, the cooler we provide will be filled with ice and we will have provided the initial bundle of firewood.  Additional ice and firewood is available for purchase. For cooler weather, we can provide a propane heater and propane tank for additional fee. We ask that you please not bring your own firewood due to the transmission of wood-related diseases and parasites.  Thank you!   We believe what differentiates us our hospitality. I joked about leaving a good review because I always want a spot available here for me to camp and selfishly I don’t want people to take it lol. Hands down one of my favorite places to camp. The folks working at the ranch were so welcoming and amazing. The views were incredible and the property is so beautiful. I was barefoot pretty much the whole weekend. It’s a great place to connect with nature and get a reset. And their jerky is hands down the best I’ve had!! 10/10 recommend!!

Really lovely camping location!! Site 13 had ample shade and the sound of the babbling brook was awesome. Furthest site from the outhouse (which was also lovely and cedar-fragranced!) and that was great for us. Hosts were excellent to communicate with in advance and on arrival/checkout. Enjoyed the beef available for sale at the Outpost!

Peaceful Stay at Blue Ridge Ranch

This was our 7th stay and we had an absolutely wonderful experience staying at Blue Ridge Ranch with our B-Class RV! From the moment we arrived, the staff was friendly, welcoming, and incredibly helpful, making check-in seamless. The site itself was spacious, clean, and beautifully maintained, with plenty of room to maneuver our RV comfortably. The surroundings are stunning—lush greenery, rolling hills, and serene views that make you feel instantly relaxed and away from the hustle of everyday life. Hookups and amenities were excellent, everything worked perfectly, and it was obvious the park takes pride in its facilities. We especially appreciated the peaceful atmosphere, which made our overnight stay feel like a true mini-getaway. Safety and cleanliness were clearly top priorities, and it felt like the perfect mix of convenience and nature. We left feeling refreshed and impressed, and we will absolutely return. Blue Ridge Ranch is a gem for any RV traveler seeking comfort, beauty, and attentive hosts—highly recommended!

Blue Ridge Ranch is a real hip camp gem! The only downside is I felt like the price is a little high for not having a 30 amp hook up; but aside from that I can attest to the beautiful property, friendly host, and overall experience. It was very quiet and easy to get to. What I also found really enjoyable was the drive through the rolling foothills, farms, and homesteads between 421 and BR ranch. The proximity to Boone and other natural attractions in the area makes BR ranch a must stay at place. Overall, BR ranch is a 3 thumbs up! :)

The tent sites were nice and spacious. It didnt feel like we were right on top of each other. You had to buy your firewood from them but it was nice that they deliver it to your site for you. Cute little outhouse that was kept very clean and smelled....as nice as you could expect an outhouse to smell. Cedar sawdust was provided to sprinkle after you did your business. ☺️ Very nice people! Tours were offered of their working ranch and the facilities but we didn't get to take one this trip.

My two dogs and I had an amazing time camping at Blue Ridge Ranch. We had a perfect secluded and peaceful spot along the creek, with great Mountain views. Troy provided a tour of the grounds. He provided great history and recommendations of things to see/do. I even got to feed cows, meet some pigs, and hold some newborn piglets. My dogs and I hiked both recommended trails to small serene waterfalls. I highly recommend staying at the ranch!

Great & personal owners operating a grass fed pig (kune kune) and cow farm with some nice on-site camper and tent sites. Primitive campsites have no-bug, zero odor cedar outhouses and water a few hundred feet away. A plumbed toilet bath house available for small $5 feet) with free WiFi at the outpost. Challenging trails and waterfalls on-site and they serve the local community and youth in many ways. Great people and great place to stay!

Beautiful, peaceful and remote. The farm is immaculately clean. The multitude of animals are well taken care of and a great addition. Book the tour to learn what an interesting history the farm has. The host and staff were wonderful. I will be back!

Very friendly hosts, campsite had everything we needed, just no shade and no trees around, so don't bring your hammock and pack a hat and sunscreen! It gets very hot in the tent sites when the sun is up and there is nowhere to escape the sun in that area.

I couldn't have been more pleased with the Blue Ridge Ranch. There is a lot of space between sites 14-16. I had #15, which I thought was the best! It was next to a babbling brook. There is a steep wooded hill across the brook so no one is camping behind you. No artificial lighting allowed for stunning stargazing! There is no shade for those sites, but I was there in April so it was fine for me. The owner/staff was super friendly and delivers firewood to the sites. Shortly after dark it was silent for the entire night and well after sunrise. I am a woman camping alone and I felt extremely safe there. Unfortunately, I had a medical issue arise that prevented me from staying for the tour or my second night. I was disappointed as the land is gorgeous and I wanted to see more of it.

We loved camping on the farm with our dog. The creek was incredibly peaceful and the farm is very well kept. We had everything we needed, even when it was just the owner available. The outhouses are very well built and clean, the farm is easy to get around and our dog had the most fun running around the massive fields.

This was my first camping spot after a road trip. I must say the camp site near the brook was so peaceful. I could not have imagined a more peaceful spot to stay for a couple of days to rest up. The out house was new and smelled of fresh cut cedar. I have done a lot of primitive camping and this was the nicest off grid toilet I have used!!

We went for a short weekend and fell IN LOVE with this place!!!! It is so beautiful no matter where on the property you stay! It’s large with a bunch to do around! Definitely booking a teepee for out next visit! We got to pet pigs and take a tour of all of the gorgeous lakes and ponds! Everything was simply stunning and the owners and workers were incredibly sweet to us! They even let our dogs come on the tour with us!!! We have camped all around the county in a tent, and this was by far the safest we have EVER felt!! Troy was extremely welcoming and so kind!!! You’re missing out if you don’t book this at least once in your lifetime!

Beautiful place to camp! We were by the creek with an amazing view of snow covered mountains. We also loved having hiking trails and were able to see a nice waterfall. Would definitely recommend fir a peaceful stay or to bring a family to!
