Forested 15 acre lot with a beautiful grassy meadow, and a meandering stream with shallow spots to cool off in on a hot day. We have a meadow by the creek with first come first served tent spots. Pitch your tent anywhere you like and relax the day away. We also offer 6 fully stocked campers and 4 RV sites for rent. Please see each site for all the details! ALL RV/camper sites have FULL hookups with 20/30/50 amp, water and septic. There is fresh drinking water, on site garbage, picnic tables, firepits, firewood for purchase and a well-maintained porta-john. Porta John is only available March 1 - November 1. We are just minutes away from Nantahala Lake, Nantahala River, and the Appalachian Trail. Enjoy nearby white-water rafting, fishing, boating, swimming, hiking, kayaking, ziplines and more. If you're not up for cooking there is a local restaurant on the lake 5 minutes away, as well as the Nantahala Outdoor Center a quick 20-minute drive.

Adventure Basecamp #3 is 37 feet long, has a queen master bedroom, bunkhouse with double bunk on bottom and 2 singles up top, bathroom w/shower, sink & toilet, full kitchen, dining table and loveseat. This camper has a regular coffee pot. You will need to bring your own coffee supplies. Outside you’ll find a large picnic table, and fire pit that you can enjoy the beautiful views of the meadow along the creek below. 22" Blackstone Griddle for your use. We sell propane for $8 each. 2 pet limit. There is a pet fee of $29 if you bring your furry friends. Please choose this option at checkout under the extras section. CHILDREN UNDER 3 STAY FREE. PLEASE DO NOT COUNT THEM IN YOUR TOTAL GUESTS. Extra cars can be parked in the parking lot below. No tents allowed at this site. We have tent camping available on our site that you may reserve as well. Please see the rules section for our pet and damage policies.

This place is really cool.... nicest camping experience we've had in a long time. We stayed at primitive spot #6, right by the creek, which they have lined with solar lights that looked amazing at night. We ordered firewood and it was there when we got there, and they even have a list of of things (beer, wine, propane, basic food items, firewood, ice) you can order and they'll deliver it right to you! Was super close to prime fly fishing spots. Portajohn was very clean, firepits were cleared out.... whole place was very, very clean, organized and thought of everything.... will definitely return. Great experience - thank you!

We loved staying at Nick and Tja's beautiful campsite! They were the best hosts and were so kind. I slept better in a tent next to the creek bubbling away than I do normally! Wonderful location close enough to get to the National Park easily but far enough away to be in a peaceful spot away from all the tourists. We will definitely come again if we possibly can.

Beautiful property with a very nice creek running through the tent camping area. Can be a little noisy with traffic, but the creek helps tamp the noise down. We really really liked the place and will definitely be back, great distance from NOC for adventuring on the Nantahala

Staying here is amazing. No complaints. You can hear the stream down below by the tent sites when it’s quiet and it usually always is quiet. Camper was very nice and clean. Well worth the price. On clear nights you can clearly see the tail of the milky way galaxy when the seasons permit the viewing of the galaxy. The Number Stars that are visible to the naked eye are almost tripled compared to being in any town or city it can get pretty breathtaking. Sightings of black bear along the nearby white oak creek were frequent during the early morning and late evening hours so keep Yer eyes open while driving along the stream to the campground location as you may see some as well. (Be sure to follow all laws regarding bear or other wildlife as you are in their territory at that point) don’t keep trash outside of the camper and you shouldn’t experience a bear scare going outside early in the morning, although we did not see any bear at the campground itself during the two weekends we’ve stayed, they definitely frequent the area so just be cautious. Trout fishing in ALL of the nearby streams are great for fly fishing, insanely packed with trout they can even be found in streams that are as small as two ft wide and 5 inches deep it’s so nice. I will be staying again for sure as you can’t beat the rates and location.

The hosts were very pleasant and attentive. They have done an amazing job turning this into a beautiful campground. I stayed in #2 right next to the babbling brook. That sound put me to sleep immediately! The only drawbacks are that you get occasional road noise and the campground does not offer privacy between campsites. In the end, I loved the creek and I would love to come back!

Great location and service. Having fresh firewood and eggs on arrival was a big plus, also having WiFi was nice. One downside was that the field used for tent camping is right next to all the rvs, and often those rvs had kids. Unfortunately during the day we often had kids running through our campsite and disturbing the peace even after being told not to. This is not the campsite’s fault, but just something to note if you’re coming on a weekend that it may be something you have to tend with. Overall though we still had a great time and I’d recommend it.

Myself and two others stayed one night ahead of a backpacking trip. The WiFi came in handy and made it easy for us to navigate to our hiking destination the next morning. The host was very friendly and welcoming. The porta potty was exceptionally clean and had motion sensor lights and hand sanitizer. The creek provided a delightful white noise while I slept. Site two is very close to site three where as other sites are more spread out.

The bed was very comfortable. We booked for the proximity to the AT, but will return to explore so much more. We look forward to more visits!

After booking, our host, Tja, was very communicative leading up to our arrival just after dusk. We did not feel comfortable backing up in our space in the dark. Tja, the host, came out to meet us and helped us park and answer any questions we had. Woke up to a clear sunny day to fully appreciate the beauty of the mountainous surroundings. We especially appreciated the brand new 50 amp hookups. They also rent state of the art RVs. Tja and her partner Nick went above and beyond to create a gold standard experience. Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved the little Vibe at spot #6. The kids were excited to stay in the bunks and the adult bed was large enough for the whole family to hang out in. Camper was in immaculate condition for us, as well as the site and entire camping property. Very easy to locate, not too far from stores either, only about 25 min. We were only able to stay one night but we will be back with friends in 2025! The hosts were amazing and answered every question quickly and Nick met us as soon as we pulled in. Great place to stay!
