Amazing campground. The hosts did a great job providing little details, firewood, fire starters, tables and Adirondack chairs…perfect after a long ride! Definitely recommend!

This land was great! There were two chairs and a table already by the fire pit along w/ a mallet and a wood splitter. The host offered wood bundles which was nice and we gathered some as well. There were also foam puzzle piece squares laid on the ground upon arrival as well which was appreciated! I highly recommend!

We loved our time at Harpy Hollow! The Sunrise Vista campsite was really special and worth the steep hike up the hill even after a long day of biking. :-) This place really has everything you need-- charming woodsy setting, bathroom, hot shower, and some lovely people & animals! Danielle is a super friendly and communicative host as well. I'll definitely be back when I'm staying in the area next.

Wonderful hosts and impeccable views with amenities! Highly recommend this site but be prepared to hike up hill a bit. The site is secluded and absolutely pitch black at night. There’s a clearing down the hill to view stars, which were bright and abundant. Milky Way visible with the naked eye (see pictures). Thanks much to these memorable hosts for accommodating us last minute!

What camping was meant to be!

I was thrilled with the quiet and peaceful camping-with-civilized perks a (short but steep) hike away. We had a bathroom and heated shower with pretty good flow and hot water at the main site. The sunrise vista site was beautiful and quiet.

Excellent camping! Hike to the site is quite vertical, so be sure to pack smartly if you're booking it. That said, great privacy at the site as a result of that hike, and well worth it. Went with some friends, and we were able to get a little loud and obnoxious without bothering anybody, which was nice. The hosts are very friendly, and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area & will be happy to give you tips on nearby things to check out. I've stayed with them previously via another platform, and having stayed with them twice now can very confidently recommend both their camping available on this platform and their glamping available on AirBnB.

Beautiful SunriseVista. Loved the stay in this quiet, well kept, private campsite. The Adirondack chairs, fire ring, and the clean outhouse were a great bonus. The hosts are amazing. Seamless stay with kind and caring hosts. Will go back.

Loved the stay at Sunrise Vista - one of the best campsites I have ever been to. The clean and comfortable bathroom (a very nice outhouse) was a bonus. Firering was great to have and the Adirondack chairs so comfortable. Had the chillest 3 days and nights. A short hike up the hill but so worth the views and the privacy. The hosts were wonderful; friendly and accommodating. Also caring abt their customers as well as their land. Definitely will return to the site when back in Fingerlakes region.

Absolutely loved our weekend at Harpy Hollow! My 2 teen sons and I had a blast. Danielle and Denise are terrific! So kind and opening. While we didn't need anything, I know if we did they would of provided it. Their hospitality is 10/10. We stayed at Sunrise Vista 2.. which did require a STEEP walk up. But we were prepared for that. The site was private, tucked I'm the mountain trees, and everything we wanted. Would absolutely be back.

My husband and I stayed here for a weekend since we wanted to visit Watkins Glen! We had a great time at this campsite! Danielle was an amazing host. You can tell she pays a lot of attention to details. The camping toilet and firewood are nice touches that help minimize trips back to the car while unpacking! The views were also amazing! We would definitely recommend staying here!

PACK LIGHT AND ENJOY!

Situated nearby an easily accessible section of the Finger Lakes Trail, Harpy Hollow is a secluded oasis and the place to be! This is the second time I've been to Harpy Hollow! Danielle is an incredibly gracious host. She saw that I packed too heavy for the trip and generously offered to shuttle my gear up to our campsite. That being said, PACK LIGHT! The hike up to SV1 is short, but man is it steep. It's very doable if you're in moderate shape, it just may take you a few mins. Although a huge help, we will definitely pack lighter next time so that we can take our gear up and back ourselves and save Danielle the trip on her quad. She's got an incredible property, and I wouldn't want to etch into her time to work. I really appreciated having a portable toilet at the top in a well enclosed outhouse at the site. While not necessary, it was a welcome luxury not having to dig cat holes. We came during a thunderstorm and the Vista however cloudy, did not disappoint. The mist and fog settle in the valley beneath the site and you could spend hours just watching the clouds roll through. Stunning. Make sure to check beneath your car before leaving anytime. There are sweet camp kitties that may bask nearby or underneath your vehicle. Danielle is a wealth of knowledge, deeply compassionate, and embodies the spirit of nature itself! This is a special place. There are campsites for everyone experience level, plenty of amenities, and fabulous company!

We had a great stay at Sunrise Vista 2. Danielle was very accommodating and took extra steps to make the sure we had what needed. It's a little less than a quarter of a mile hike to the site, but it's steep. Just keep that in mind when you are packing. Once you are there, you have a plenty of space to setup a nice camp and it's completely private.

We loved this site as well as our communications with Danielle so much! She is a super fun, helpful, friendly, accommodating person - and the tent site was gorgeous. Out in the woods with tons of privacy, lots of nature, and super peaceful and quiet. There was a clearing nearby where we were able to look up and see the stars. Honestly it was sort of a dream site. Danielle is also super handy and built an unbelievably nice bathroom and shower situation out there in the woods. 5 stars for sure. Would recommend, and would stay there again.

Danielle has created an outdoor enthusiasts oasis! She is incredibly knowledgeable from her animals to land management. The property is welcoming and thoughtfully laid out for the best possible experience. There are trails to enjoy, a creek, and the star gazing is breathtaking. The campsites are large, secure, and far apart for maximum privacy. Harpy's Hollow is my new go to weekend retreat! I cannot wait to go back!!!!!

Danielle was a gracious and fantastic host. Love to come back. Supplied us with drinkable water, which I didn’t ask for and a bucket to put out our fire , which I did ask for. Also supplied us with a map of the area. Had a great time hiking various trails, wish the weather was better but we got to see a lot of waterfalls because of all the rain.

Site 1 - Private wooded tent site

I loved this site! We camped twice, once on our way to Michigan and again on the way back. We enjoyed the privacy and also the conversations with the hosts. The shower is pristine as is the water source. Happy pups, happy people, happy times.

Danielle and Denise were so great! It was easy to communicate with them on the app. When we arrived after dark they met us and showed us to our camp site and made sure we were all set up. We ended up staying at the H2 site which was perfect for tent camping. There is a moveable fire pit and a bench with some storage available. Short walk to the camp toilet which was very nice, clean and convenient. We will definitely be back!

A but close to other campers but you don’t even care because the view is amazing! Even after raining hard all morning we had a nice area to stay dry and even had dry wood provided to make a fire! Very lovely hosts and cute animal friends!

Beautiful views, & an excellent place to disconnect and enjoy some solitude. What a gem of a spot !! Danielle and her crew were warm and helpful. The trek up to this spot is steep, but not long. If you’re as lucky as I was, you might even get a hand hauling your gear up ;) Full woodsy experience with some really sweet extras; a composting toilet !! A shower !! Great conversations ??? Yes, you should definitely visit over and over again. Thank you, Danielle and your gang for making my visit excellent.

Secluded, quiet, and a great host.

My wife and I camped at Harpy Hollow Site 1 (Private Wooded Tent Site) for two nights in August 2023. The Hollow is secluded and quiet (surrounded by forest). The town of Watkins Glen is just 20 min away, with its State Park, stores, and restaurants, and lake access. Site 1 is very private and heavily wooded – we could sometimes hear other campers in the distance, but never saw them. The water supply, flush toilet, and lovely new shower are located near the host’s house, about 200 ft from Site 1. Danielle was friendly and very informative, and easy to work with. The Hollow is pet-friendly, and the several enthusiastic resident dogs are well-contained. We would definitely camp here again.

Stayed here at Danielle's campsite for the second time. We love it here and is the perfect little getaway spot. Danielle is a great host, very accommodating, friendly and quick to respond. She showed us around the camp and all the new things she has added since the last time we made a visit. This place is just getting better!
