A hike to remember
I have been recomending this place since before I even stood over. After the stay, it was better than I imagines. Saw a cute bear and skink! There was so many rocks to climb and the river qas so beautiful to see!! Will be coming again!!

My partner and I had a lovely time camping at Spirit Walk. We stayed for two nights. We were actually lucky enough to be the only campers there on our second night, but even when that wasn't the case, the atmosphere was very laid back and peaceful. The creek was really full in late April, so we could hear it roaring constantly even from the Oaktree campsite (which I enjoyed, it was a bit like having a white noise machine on lol). We really loved relaxing next to the water and also exploring the property, there's a bunch of things to see and enjoy. The kitchen was well-stoked and having running water on-site made it so much easier to cook and clean up after. We were shown around by Anna, who is really sweet and welcoming. Definitely recommend staying here, it was 100x better than most other campsites I've stayed at, and with the amenities they offer, it's totally worth the cost! We had a magical time and will definitely be back.

Wonderful lovely campsite!
The place is so beautiful and our host is very very helpful in giving us directions and showing us the facilities. The kitchen wares are very helpful too and picnic area looks so beautiful at night. Falling asleep in the sounds of river and frogs was also super lovely. Our group has several first-time campers but they all had a great camping experience here!! Would definitely recommend and maybe come back again too:))

My husband and I visited to celebrate our anniversary and connect with the earth. It was such a perfect weekend! We loved the outdoor kitchen. You just need to bring food to cook. The land was so beautiful and incredibly peaceful! The creek was flowing due to the recent rain storms. We spent lots of time by the water enjoying the views! There are plenty of spots to sit and disconnect. We also enjoyed the fire pits and being able to purchase firewood using Venmo! This is the perfect place if you are looking to connect with the earth in nature 🍄🍀☀️🧘🏻♀️

I have to say this is one of our favorite campsite. The vibe of this place is just so amazing, so serene so peaceful. We enjoyed using the outdoor kitchen it was spotless. Torch at night is a nice touch. I enjoyed doing yoga on top of the rock by the river. We also meet another cool couple that we had bonfire with. I will definitely come back again.

We had a lovely time at Spirit Walk! Anna, the host, was so warm and welcoming. All the other folks we met were great too. Although we were tent camping, the fully-equipped camp kitchen and bathroom facilities added a touch of luxury to our experience 😄
The land is gorgeous! Colorful rocks, huge boulders along the rustling and refreshing (ice cold!) creek, beautiful trees— all in all, a fantastic place to camp. I hope to return soon!

Peaceful Oasis
A truly magical place. Peaceful, rejuvenating and impeccably maintained. Ana, who overseas the space, was a dream. She greeted us when we got there and gave us a tour of the many alcoves on site to read, mediate, conversate…etc. the following morning she did a sound bath for my wife and I that was profoundly enjoyable - this comes from someone whose never been able to get into sound baths before. The cabin is perfect, simple and zen. We met other campers that were looking to get into nature, connect and just be. Such a special weekend, we’ll be back soon for sure.

Wonderful Experience
What a great experience my son and I had at Spirit Walk. The camp host was such a beautiful and kind person. We felt instantly at hope from the moment we pulled down the road. The camp ground itself is fantastic. Everything you could need for camping and enjoying a few days away. The area is lovely and encapsulates what camping is all about. I highly recommend this camp ground to any who want a peaceful and spiritual retreat.

Under the Mighty Oak
There's something special about the land. Camping under the mighty oak during the blizzard kept me protected and cozy, and Anna the forest nymph ensured I didn't freeze by checking in and sharing her bountiful warmth. Her sound bath was the perfect end to an enchanted adventure. My body feels clean from the living water, and my mind is clear from the brisk mountain air. So in love with this place, thankful to John and Anna. Hope to return!

Awesome place. Very quiet and good for getting away from busy city life. I enjoyed both the house and the entire area surrounding it. I was lucky to not run into anyone for 4 days, which is what I was looking for. But I knew Anna was there if I needed anything - perfect. She checked on me occasionally by text. The nature there is beautiful and so is the tiny home. Highly recommended to anyone who wants to spend some time with themselves and the nature.

Camping in a sacred land
We loved tent camping on John's and Anna's land. The property is clean and well maintained. There is also a special and comforting energy on that land. It makes you feel safe. Anna even offered a sound bath session for free! Definitely recommend if you're looking for a body/mind relaxation experience in the nature.

Spirit walk retreat was by far the best campsite I’ve ever camped at. It was exactly what my partner and I needed to escape the busy city. It was a very peaceful and grounding experience: I will definitely be returning. The scenery was magnificent. The hot springs and south lake falls was a great site to see: I highly recommend camping at spirit walk.

If you’re searching for a great place to rest and reset, Spirit Walk Private Retreat is a great choice. Thank you, John and Anna, for your great hospitality!
This Hipcamp is 100% relaxed vibes. My husband and I loved the peaceful simplicity of this Hipcamp. Aside from the cozy off-grid lodging, we enjoyed relaxing seating areas, walking trails,
a meditative labyrinth, and a fantastic outdoor kitchen set-up. That kitchen is flanked by a spacious, shaded deck. It would be perfect not just for an amazing camping experience, but a family reunion, birthday venue, or yoga class.
Our little lodging was clean, comfortable, and a joy to spend time in. Having said that, the tent sites at this Hipcamp were fantastic, too. Both are wonderful options, and come with many well- appreciated amenities.
It’s evident that the host put a lot of thought and love into this property. Because of it, SWPR is a fantastic spot for any kind of camper/glamper to enjoy. For its quiet location, beautiful environment, and superb amenities, we happily recommend Spirit Walk Private Retreat. Thank you, John, for sharing your Hipcamp with us!

Grounding and peaceful energy
John’s land and space is magical. You can feel the energy, which brought grounding and peace for me. John is an empathetic and intuitive healer, and great to meet/connect if you get a chance! It was super hot during the heat wave, but hot springs and water are near by. I’ll definitely be back and look forward to returning when the creek is flowing in the spring!

They have a very nice layout. the property is very beautiful and the common areas are very well kept and spacious. even though the campsites are near each other, they way everything is laid out is very nice and private. i had a very romantic time with my girlfriend and we would love to come back soon.

A mindful experience
This place was super cute, well kept and definitely a spiritual place. We arrived super late and John and Anna were extremely compassionate. John walked us through on the phone and was precise in explaining the land and the whereabouts. We were the only ones there but loved the tranquil environment. And the silence. The kitchen is well equipped with anything you need.

Johns campsite was the perfect getaway, a quiet secluded spot on beautiful property. Ana the property manager on site was very nice and helpful. Location was a short drive away from cute local towns and outdoorsy activities like hiking and hotsprings. We would definitely come back!

This is a very special place. It's on a wooded hill with pine trees, juniper, live oak, and elderberry. The stream course is a maze of giant granite boulders that make for great hiding places or perfect perches for watching birds or stars or listening to the wind. Loved the dining area, the superb organization.
