We are a family run farm situated in the beautiful Frome valley. The farm has a range of interests from the traditional Jersey milking cows to a community of workshops used by local craftsmen. The cafe serves cream teas from Easter to the end of September and pizzas are sold in evenings during the summer months.
Ours is a small family run camp site with the River Frome on one side, next to the medieval buildings of Stowford Farm. The river is suitable for fishing, boating, swimming and paddling. Historic Bradford-on-Avon is only a 5 minute drive and the City of Bath 15 minutes. For those who enjoy more rural pleasures, 200 metres from the campsite Farleigh Hungerford boasts the only river swimming club in the country, and you can become an instant member for a very small fee.

This is a lovely place to stay. The railway carriage was very comfortable and very well laid out, packing a lot of functionality into a cozy space. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. It’s just a short drive to several must see places like Bath and Avebury henge.

Gorgeous cabin with rolling countryside views.
Private area with large garden.
Hot tub and sauna are a big plus.
Farm is quiet and very close to all North Devon has to offer.
Accommodation is actually very spacious. 4 fit easily in each room.
Highly recommended. We had a fabulous weekend, I could’ve stayed longer.

Amazing lodges, our family had Kites Nest and Barn Owl Lodge and they were perfect for our group size, including a toddler and elderly woman! They were comfortable and gorgeous. Interiors and views were stunning, I couldn't believe the sunsets at night, the hot tubs were such a treat and both lodges had fantastic seating areas on the deck, we went on the steam railway and enjoyed a BBQ at the lodge. Would love to come back next year.

Weekend Trip to Dyfi Forest Retreats
We had such a gorgeous and relaxing stay at Dan's cabin. By choosing to visit at the end of January, we were a little nervous that we would be cold, but the fire kept us nice and toasty all weekend. Dan was friendly, relaxed and super helpful and he has provided everything you could need for your stay. The spot felt totally private, but equally knew that if we were stuck with anything we'd be able to get help quickly. Lovely to explore the beautiful surroundings and it's a decent but nice walk down to the local pub and back! We'll definitely be returning again.
