Our woodland cabin was handcrafted by John and a local craftsman using locally sourced larch, and furnished with care by local suppliers and artists. Guests often describe our space as welcoming, relaxing, spacious, and truly unique. Surrounded by rejuvenating woodland and vibrant gardens, nature envelops you in our tranquil retreat.
As our guest, you'll enjoy exclusive access to all areas, including the spacious hut measuring 8ft tall, 8ft wide, and 18ft long. Unwind on the deck equipped with camp kitchen facilities, and refresh in the enclosed shower. THere's an eco-friendly toilet. Guests often rave about the superb shower experience and the powerful water pressure.
The hut is well-insulated, and we offer plenty of blankets and hot water bottles to keep you warm during cooler nights.
Experience the rich biodiversity of our surroundings, from finches to robins, buzzards to cranes, and various small mammals. Keep your eyes peeled for regular sightings of otters, water voles, and weasels, immersing yourself in the wonders of nature.
Attention to detail is paramount to us, ensuring your stay is a seamless blend of relaxation and rejuvenation. Discover numerous cozy spots to unwind, read a book, indulge in outdoor dining, or simply bask in the soothing sounds of the nearby woodland stream flowing through our ponds.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park.
Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven.
Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements.
We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests!
We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know.
We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay.
Litter:
You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible.
Pitches to be left as you found them.
Noise:
Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning.
No loud music is to be played at any time.
Children:
Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area.
Dogs:
Must not to be left unattended.
Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available).

Coed Obry is a 5.5 acre private woodland on the edge of Snowdonia National Park. It has its own private gated access from the road and a 50m track leads from the A 4085 to a small car park for 5 vehicles. Paths lead from there to the caravan, bunkhouse, camping areas. There is a compost toilet block and sink (cold water tap) in the centre of the wood shared by all visitors. The notice board in the car park provides visitors with maps, photos and information about the wood, and there are laminated maps showing the routes of around 30 local walks which visitors are welcome to borrow during their stay. Canoe, kayaks and paddle boards are available to hire in Coed Obry and there are several fire pits with seasoned firewood for sale. There is no mains water so visitors are requested to bring their own drinking water, but rain water harvesting systems provide water for washing. Nearby there are several outstanding beaches within 1-3 miles and there is good access to the mountains of Snowdonia; the Afon Dwyryd provides an excellent sheltered river/estuary for canoeing and paddle boarding; the slate quarries and tourist attractions of Blaenau Ffestiniog, rock climbing at Tremadog (2 miles); spectacular waterfalls at Croesor (1 mile); the Ffestiniog Narrow Gauge Railway (0.5 miles); the Glaslyn Osprey Centre (1 mile); several shops, restaurants, hostelries and Spar shop in Penrhyndeudraeth (1 mile); three large supermarkets and a regional shopping centre in Porthmadog (2.5 miles).

What a gorgeous place! The perfect place for a calm refuge to reset and re-enter life restored.

Cedar cabin was absolutely immaculate it was nice and cozy on a hill which gave it the best view! The lake is incredibly stunning and filled with fish! My son also went fishing there and sadly had his fishing rod pulled in by a fish but the next morning the host went and found it. The host was so kind and welcoming 5/5 stars would highly recommend!

We had an excellent stay at the round house. The location is incredibly serene with gorgeous views. The building is beautiful and has been furnished with great attention to detail. The bed is really cosy, the hot shower is great and the cooking area is well equipped. Meg and Benjamin were very attentive hosts and we would warmly recommend a stay here.

It was a fabulous secluded spot which was what we were looking for. The accommodation had basic facilities but were perfectly adequate. There was a great main area with toilets, showers, TV and pool table. Lots of great walks around. Fabulous spot for a weekend get away

Gorgeous cabin with rolling countryside views.
Private area with large garden.
Hot tub and sauna are a big plus.
Farm is quiet and very close to all North Devon has to offer.
Accommodation is actually very spacious. 4 fit easily in each room.
Highly recommended. We had a fabulous weekend, I could’ve stayed longer.

We had a wonderful few nights. A great play to relax and loved the fact that it's so tucked away with so many walks straight out the door. A bonus was seeing the odd supersonic jet emerge at tree level at the end of the Mach Loop. Don't worry, these were a spectacle, not an irritation. Peace and serenity assured here and some wonderful beaches a short car ride away. Recommended!

A beautiful & enchanting place. Perfect to disconnect and reconnect with nature. The roundhouse itself is truly magical set in an almost mythical location. Will return and definitely recommend for those looking to tune out.

We stayed in Epynt and had a lovely couple of days.
It was basic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Double bed was very comfortable and the kids liked staying on the bunkbeds.
The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sun set.
We found it warm enough so didn’t need to use the log burner.
The communal kitchen was great and the games room was a very welcome addition.

Me and my family had a wonderful time at the roundhouse it was so peaceful waking up with the birds in the morning and being surrounded by nature. We spend lot's of time outdoors by the fireplace.

Weekend Trip to Cwmllwyd Getaways
The views from the site are fantastic. The accommodation was fabulous , had everything you needed. For us it was a restful weekend after a very busy week.
Ceri was fantastic and answered texts as soon as she got them.

With kids
We stayed as a small family of three in the Cedar Cabin for my birthday and had a great time! The Cabin was cosy, tidy and in a great spot with views down the valley. Andrew helped us settle in and had some recommendations for places to visit. We had the fire pit one night and shamefully we struggled to keep a fire going, so Andrew popped over to help out. With the anglers pond nearby, it was great for bird watching. We will definitely be returning and thank you so much for a wonderful stay!

This place is extremely special. Very remote, beautiful and tranquil in natural and peaceful surroundings.
If you're an eco-friendly animal lover you will be at home here. I wish I could have stayed forever.
The round house is so pretty, very clean, very well thought out, has everything you need and is the perfect retreat. I will return 100%.
Compost toilet is clean and tidy, not smelly. The shower is warm with everything you need and even the toiletries are amazing.
Megan and Benjamin are super lovely humans. Always there to help if needed, very kind and considerate.
I would recommend a pair of Wellies as is a little walk from the parking area to the round house. Definitely worth it though 👌
Also it's a good drive 'up' so keep going you're not lost 😅
