The site was beautifully clean and well set up. Becky was so welcoming and helpful -she understood that my dog can be reactive and made sure we were able to be at a distance from other campers (he liked Becky!) There are plenty of water points, and dog bins. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean. .

Weekend Trip to Spring Field Dark Skies Eco Camp

Our first time camping as a family, which was all very ad hoc because we had bought a 2nd hand textbox classic on the same day and were looking where to try it out on the way back to mid Wales. Gorgeous views, and James was so lovely and approachable and we felt very welcome. He even spent time after we left searching for our daughter's lost gingerbread man toy (which has only just turned up safely at home!). The views over the plains and hills were astonishing and the toilets on site really clean and nice to use. Lots of lovely places to walk nearby as well. Thank you James for making our 1st camping so great!

Loved my stay - the view is incredible and worth it for that alone. It was a last minute booking to make the most of the sun but I’ll absolutely be back for a longer stay. It’s a small field with pitches around the perimeter, and as a solo camper I felt extremely safe. James was lovely too!

Weekend Trip to Woodside Country Park

The campsite was very pretty and secluded, and the lake was lovely too! The bathrooms were also clean and there were a few great walks around. The hosts were also lovely! Would absolutely come again.

Eden's Nook is such a peaceful campsite..full of birds during the day and star viewing at night. The facilities are great, including the barbeque hut and Jane and Neville couldn't have been more helpful. And Jane's breakfast is delicious! We'll be back!

Weekend Trip to Hobby Farm

Had a beautiful stay. The hut was clean and well equipped. The shower was a bit lacking but better than nowt. I particularly loved that the hut was enclosed in its own paddock so my dog was contained and I could relax. The bed was comfortable and I slept like a log. Had a visit from a peacock as the sun went down each evening, how cool!

A peaceful site close to Lampeter. The pitches are grass and fairly level and there are two small, but beautifully clean toilet and shower shacks with a washing and fresh water area behind. Great communication from the hosts.

Eden’s Nook is a beautiful retreat from day to day life, with everything you could want for a comfortable stay. I got a warm welcome on arrival and shown around the site, being the only one booked I was able to fully enjoy the indoor fire pit and bbq, the excellent showers and stunning scenery (the clear sky was something very special)! The site is well equipped with anything you might have forgotten and the hosts are lovely and helpful.

Incredible camping experience. The owners couldn't have been any more helpful and friendly. The toilets and showers are extremely clean and warm. Amazing views. Absolute pleasure staying here. Also the breakfast was perfect, I highly recommend you try it!

Beautiful little get away. Lots of lovely little touches that makes it stand out. Very peaceful and I think it would be an out of this world stay in the summer. Would definitely recommend 👌

The Cider Site is a small family run camping site, which made it feel very intimate and homely. The views are great and you feel relaxed and part of nature. We stayed right at the end of the season (the last weekend of October), so it was quiet and the Cider Bar was closed.....but we'll be back another time to sample the home made Cider :). The facilities are good - warm shower, towel rail, toilet. This site is on the border of Hereford and Abergavenny, so perfectly placed to explore either, which we did! Great location! Great find! :)

Nestled on the hilltops near Bucks Mills and Clovelly, our 13 acre smallholding-in-progress offers rustic nearly-wild camping in our wildflower hay meadows. Expect to share your space with hares, deer, foxes, owls, songbirds, field voles, bees and butterflies. The views from the fields are a well kept local secret - from your tent look out over Hartland, Lundy island, Saunton, Croyde, Exmoor and Dartmoor, even Pembrokeshire on a very clear day! FACILITIES: In keeping with our low impact approach, the fields are just fields, but with the addition of a shared picnic bench! A flushing toilet, drinking water, charging, WiFi, and info are at the farmhouse. A simple outdoor hot shower is coming soon (must finish building it) and compost loo for the camping field coming by summer. There is surprisingly excellent 4G/5G coverage if important for you. BBQs permitted off the ground and we have fire pits for loan and logs for sale. Dogs welcome under close control - please avoid meadow centres in summer to protect the nesting skylarks. You must also ensure they do NOT chase the wildlife. ACCESS: All fields are easily accessible by 4WD, and main field by 2WD in summer/when dry. If wet we cannot guarantee your vehicle will get up the steep grassy hill. The views are worth the walk though! We're happy to help shuttle gear by truck, or probive a wheelbarrow. Campervans have the emergency option of a level paddock by the road. THE SITE: Nature spot, relax and stargaze across our 4 fields. We recently planted 800 trees for a new woodland, created a wildlife pond, and are establishing a traditional cider orchard. Rose looks after our vegetable garden and usually has some native breed piglets to say hello to. Our apiary is managed by Jon who will happily explain about bees... and sell you a jar of honey for breakfast. We are pleased to now be a South West Coast Path Waymaker, and we welcome walkers. We also welcome drivers and motorcyclists enjoying the Atlantic Highway or South West 660. We like classics and have spanners! Flexible arrival/departure. If we are not around just choose a spot and we'll find you later. We are both keen adventurers and happy to provide tips on things to do and places to visit! Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!
