Absolutely loved my trip here! Campsite was peaceful really well maintained. Bar and restaurant area was amazing and all the staff were really friendly and attentive. Managed to get myself a fresh pizza from the restaurant and eat it back at camp. Would absolutely stay here again!

Great place to camp! We had such a good time and the bar is brilliant on the weekends! Very dog friendly. We had the river right behind out pitch and the dogs loved it! Not somewhere to go if you’re looking for somewhere quiet on the weekend though😂

Just listening to the birds in the evening with beautiful surroundings was enough for me. Stayed one night and was the only one in the field which was brilliant for me. Sat nav got a bit confused at the last few yards and told me to turn right but if I was more aware there is a sign on that junction telling you to go straight on and then you are there. One field with toilets, shower and mini kitchen with all the recyclables. Definitely go again as it was so peaceful

Weekend Trip to Cuddfan - The Hiding Place

The camp site is great! Hot shower hit the spot! Fire pit was awesome! Tranquil sound of running water from the river! Overall a very good spot! Would recommend!

Weekend Trip to Bredy Farm

A lovely setting, with a nice laid back feel, pull up and pick a nice spot, which is the kind of camping I like. Enjoyed the fact there’s a bar on site and The Parlour is a fantastic place to eat. Would definitely stay again

3 nights at Milkmaid Meadow Campsite

This is such a lovely site. If you love being in the calm of nature this is the place to be! Having the lambs in the neighbouring fields, seeing the cows and horses in the distance. As the sun goes down you can hear the owls. With the lack of light pollution it is the perfect place to star gaze. The showers, toilets and washing up facilities are very clean and there is warm water! This site is also very dog friendly with the field being very secure. I would say my favourite part is having an area to have a communal fire pit. It means other campers can get together socially in the evening. Barnstaple is only a 13 minute drive away so you are close to a town and supermarket if needed. There is also a beach close by. Exmore national Park is only 50 minutes away. I will definitely be back again!. Thank you so much Jakki.

Weekend Trip to Woodlands Camping

Very quiet, peaceful and beautiful site. Pitches are clearly marked and spacious. Facilities are basic so if you want flushing toilets and luxury showers, this is not it. Host was very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic campsite set in a beautiful location. Excellent clean facilities and we were greeted with a friendly smile. Nice and peaceful with lots of space.

Weekend Trip to Gurt Yurts

We want to give the best feedback possible for Tim and the yurt. Tim is a fantastic host, so helpful, makes himself available for any enquiries and local information, and genuinely cares that his guests are well looked after. It really wasa complete experience for us as Tim welcomes well behaved dogs too. The yurt is a dream! So comfortable, everything you could possibly need to be warm and cosy and prepare easy food , especially with Tim’s own hens eggs, and breakfast and barbecue packs (much of which are from the organic farm just down the road) a lovely bonus . Super wood burner, a quilt which has had me looking online since we got back it’s so warm and comfortable and the setting is beautiful in its own paddock (which our dog loved!) with lovely views. The washing up, shower and compost loo facilities were so convenient on the decking next to the yurt, well lit at night by sensor lights, clean with all the all required products supplied, and eco friendly too. The lovely bottle of Prosecco and fresh apple juice were a really kind and very much appreciated gift. We would recommend anyone to stay here and we shall certainly be coming back. THANK YOU!!

A great quite spot for exploring the local area with amazing views. There is plenty of wildlife and Jakki was very friendly and helpful with providing fire pit and really good fire wood. Hope to go back soon.

2 nights at Cuddfan - The Hiding Place

Beautiful spot, very peaceful. Lovely next to the river for a refreshing dip!! The tent and facilities were great, very comfortable and all the bits you could need! Great to have our own loo and shower as well. A really peaceful escape from the world.

3 nights at Gurt Yurts

We absolutely loved our few days at Gurt Yurt and cannot recommend it highly enough. Our boys are aged 9 and 7, and this was a dream trip for them: beautiful views over the countryside, deer, buzzards, Tim’s hens and so much space to run around and play. They loved the tyre swings and hammock too. The beds were super cosy and the yurt is equipped with a wood burner, electric blanket and hot water bottles which kept us warm on the cool April nights. Tim is a lovely host - so accommodating, knowledgeable about the area, and goes above and beyond to ensure his guests have a great experience. We will treasure our camp fire memories and the time we spent here. Hope to return again soon.

Amazingly relaxing break. Lovely site with wonderful walks through the woods and across the nearby fields. Very peaceful and quiet site. The night sky was mesmerising. Compost toilets were clean, though a little cramped. Two portable toilet pods arrived on the second day and we're much appreciated. Cold water washing up facilities were very handy. Host was very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend the site for a relaxing get away.

The space Waunbayvil camping is set in its own secluded spot on 40 acres of private wildland and woodlands in the Pembrokeshire national Park, with a pond and views of the stunning landscape. It is the perfect getaway, a place to re-connect with nature and your loved ones in the most peaceful place away from it all. This is not a big campsite with lots of other people, you can book the whole campsite for a private group, or otherwise, only 2 or 3 families very spread out at a time. The pitches are set out with plenty of space in between. There is parking for cars or campervans, and the camping area itself is not accessible for vehicles, making it a lovely car free space with nothing but nature all around you. You will need to carry tents and equipment up to the camping area., only around 100m from the parking area. (We have a wheel barrow for you to use)We also have a small hard standing area for campervan. There is a compost loo, a washing up area, and an off grid shower shack. It is set in the most beautiful surroundings, teaming with wild life and filled with wild orchids and many different species of grasses and wildflowers. It is unique and a treat for people who love natural habitat. The sea is about two miles away where there are spectacular cliff walks for many miles on the Pembrokeshire coast path, and beautiful beaches for swimming. Bring logs and kindling with you. (Can be bought from any garage) If you bring a cool box we can top you up with frozen ice packs. Just ask. We moved here after an 18 month search 8 years ago. It was close to everything we wanted and we've spent some time getting a bit closer.

Farm is a working farm in the heart of the Isle of Purbeck, ideally located for exploring the stunning World Heritage Site coastline. The Pike family has farmed here since 1956. The farmhouse is largely Victorian although parts of the house and some farm buildings are much older. The accommodation looks out over the lovely views of Corfe Castle and the Purbeck Hills. The seaside town of Swanage is just over 4 miles away as are the sandy beaches of Studland Bay. The Coastal Path will take you along the coast to Durlston Country Park, Dancing Ledge and Winspit. The deserted village of Tyneham and its own bay is a short drive away, then follow the scenic road over the Ranges to Lulworth and Durdle Door. Local attractions include Monkey World and Bovington Tank Museum, and a walk through the RSPB bird sanctuary at Arne to Poole Harbour is recommended.
