This family-run camping field on our laid-back livestock farm is full of rustic charm. Pitch wherever feels right—tent or camper van. Dogs welcome but must always be kept on a lead and cleaned up after (dog waste bin on site, otherwise we are a leave no trace site and you should take your rubbish home with you).
This year, we’re introducing the “Missing Camper Trail” hidden in the woodland—can you find Colin? You’ll also find a new zip line and a slackline for adventurers big and small. Mud Café and den building are still here, along with teddy bears scattered through the woods—no official trail, just hidden friends to find.
Also new this season - a handcrafted washing-up area built by Farmer Ben from wood right off our farm.
Coming soon: We’re hoping for showers this season, but we’ll update when they’re up and running.
Wild camping here means no electricity—just two lovely compost loos and a covered cold-water tap. So bring your guitar, light a fire, and soak up the simplicity... The way camping was intended.

Beautiful scenery all around and always left clean and tidy. David the host is friendly and helpful, he stopped and chatted for a little while. I had the place to myself for a second time! There's Plenty of animals and wildlife around too, horses ducks kites bats and squirrels!

Well what can I say, just a wonderful place and very welcoming owner David is so friendly and that is what makes the stay even more amazing, not only has David got to know us bit he also allows me to ride his handsome boy George how is a wonderful handsome boy with a heart of pure gold, he loves having he freedom when it's just me and my partner on site and I feel like a outlaw wildlife and a horse what more could you want

It was a wonderful hideaway next to the river. So peaceful and relaxing. We brought our two spaniels who were in heaven running around. The kitchen was nifty and great for us to make breakfast and dinner. The yurt was cozy and clean. The outhouse was also nice and shower section.

We had a wonderful weekend here. The indoor skate park is an incredible feature, and we had a great time in the tree net and playing big chess. We stayed in the lovely converted horsebox and it had everything we needed. I would happily visit again to stay for a weekend or along Offa's Dyke Path.

This place is a gem. It’s in the forest, super peaceful, and the pitches are literally 3 steps from the water. I’m not exaggerating you could fish from your tent.
Really easy to find too, which is great because my sense of direction is about as reliable as a chocolate teapot. And if you’re the type to forget tent pegs, gas, or, I don’t know, actual food like me, the shop’s only 5 mins away. Saved my bacon. Literally I forgot bacon.
The river and the owls double as white noise during the night drowning out anything else. Slept like a rock.
