Loved my stay here this week! I went with my beagle and we both enjoyed the hugs of coast and countryside—peaceful walks, lots of beautiful wildlife, stunning views high in the hillside looking down through the valley to the sea, and a private, relaxing space to unwind. Lesley and Paul were incredibly warm and welcoming, and when I had some unexpected car trouble, they made sure I felt comfortable to ask if I needed anything - I had everything I needed already provided! It’s truly a special spot ☺️🐶🍃🌊

This is a really lovely campsite. The pitches are far apart around a beautiful meadow with amazing views. We spotted lots of wildlife in the meadow (grasshoppers and butterflies) and up high (birds of prey). Pirdie is friendly and very knowledgeable, she recommended a wonderful walk to some waterfalls that was just right for our young children. Facilities are clean, there is one shower and flushing toilet in the same bathroom, the rest are compost loos, so it is more of a back to basics vibe, but this was great for us and more than worth it for how peaceful and spacious the site is. We would love to come back.

We had an amazing stay here at Andy’s campsite! Such a chilled out and beautiful area with great fire facilities and camping equipment if needed. There’s so much to do in the area and is in a great location to visit places such as cheddar gorge. Great value and would happily come and stay again.

We spent a night at this lovely campsite with our two children, and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The location is beautifully set by a picturesque river, which added a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere to our stay. The facilities were clean and well-maintained — the toilet and shower block were conveniently close by, and the small shared kitchenette was particularly handy. It’s well-suited for washing up, boiling a kettle, and enjoying a cup of tea or coffee. There’s also a communal fridge, which was very useful for storing a few essentials. The pitch itself was level and spacious, and we felt very comfortable and safe throughout. A great spot for a short family break, and we’d certainly consider returning for a longer stay next time. As you'd expect from a site with such a name, there's a whole lot of space in which to relax and explore at 5 Acres, a large grassy site in the Somerset Levels. Kids and dogs are both welcome on site here, and there's plenty of scope for them to run about and play games safely away from barbecues and campfires (which are also permitted to keep you warm and fed in the evenings). Facilities on site include firepits, a toilet and shower block and outdoor sinks with mains water. Dogs must be kept on leads at all time. We class ourselves as a quite site so no amplified music. Mains hook ups are 6Amp max rated. Pitches are approximately 16m x 20m. The flag, firepit and pitch number line up in the centre of your pitch. The surrounding Somerset Levels aren’t just out in the sticks – they also produce them. Willow cane has been cultivated the traditional way in this part of the county for hundreds of years and can be seen growing within a mile of 5 Acres. The Levels are also a wildlife haven, making them an all-round top choice for country walks along the many trails nearby. And while this may be a rural retreat, it's also one that's easy to get to as it's just off the A378 (no winding country lanes to negotiate for this one…) Taunton town centre, with its wide range of shops and supermarkets, is a 15-minute drive away. The closest pub and coffee shop are five minutes away by road.

Secluded camping, campfires, coast and country. Head west through Wales to the coast and somewhere by the south east corner of Ireland is the beautiful region of Pembrokeshire. Halfway between the smallest cathedral city in the realm and the site of the last invasion of Britain by their Gallic neighbours is the idyll of Sir Benfro. Once in Trevine or Trefin, there is a long bumpy lane with no tarmac. Watch that sat nav go into the blue, and you too can be Ar y Mwny. Make your camp nestled on a gentle hillside, with panoramic views of the sea and countryside. Located just about as far away from any roads as its possible to get in this part of Pembrokeshire, yet still only a short walk to the coast via footpaths. Being situated amongst several hundred acres of farmland, we not only have inspirational views but also the blessing of unobstructed sunrises and sunsets, followed by a wide open starscape. Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. (We are working on an enclosed dog walking area, however this is not yet available). no refunds on bookings if cancelled withing 10days of booking

The six camping pitches are grass pitches carefully set within a quiet part of an orchard. Sleeping up to five and dog friendly, they`re ideal for couples and families. Stay on an attractive, small farm site, set in Devon countryside and close to a lovely beach. Open year round and only 15 minutes from Torquay and its beach vibes. There are just six individually named grass pitches for tents and campervans only, each nestled away in its own private slot of the orchard on a slight slope. The maximum number of people per pitch is five and each pitch measures 3.6m x 7m and comes with 6 amp electric hook up. One well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your glamping adventure. The Hen`s Dens at Orchard Organic Farm is open all year round.
