After a secluded stay on Anglesey? Take a peek at peaceful Pengraig Campsite. Up at the isle’s most north-western point near Church Bay, it’s about as far as you can get from the mainland without actually ditching into the sea.
With that far-flung setting comes a stunning sea view – one that can be gazed at for many hours from the comfort of your pitch (a recommended activity around sunset, with drink in one hand and a barbecue stoking implement in the other). See the sea from a different angle on the nearby Anglesey Coast Path or while strolling on the sands of one of the local beaches.
The waves aren’t the only gazing material around here – turn your back on the coast for scenic views of Mynydd Y Garn, or bring binoculars for a bit of birdwatching. Once darkness falls, direct your gaze upwards; the lack of light pollution means the stars can often put on a glittering show here.
This isn’t a place for folks seeking heaps of facilities and entertainment; the emphasis is very much on peace and nature. Low-key amenities include a drinking water supply, a chemical disposal point and a toilet block (with basins and proper flushing loos).
If you want to venture out in search of eats, pub meals and seafood suppers are five minutes’ drive away in Church Bay, and a little supermarket 15 minutes away in Cemaes.

Weekend Trip to Nant Bach Retreat
We had a lovely stay at Nant Bach retreat. John met us and showed us around. It was super peaceful with fantastic views of the surrounding countryside. We had everything we needed to enjoy our stay and made use of the BBQ, courtyard and wood-fired hot tub which was amazing and watched the sunset from it. The woodburnimg stove was easy to use and keep in, it kept the barn lovely and warm.

A truly wonderful place to stay amidst a landscape that resonates within the breath of those who love the outdoors. The site is well laid out but still with the feeling of being in the midst of a rewilding experience. The shop, coffee area, market garden are just some of the areas of loveliness to spend time in. The views towards Yns Mons are a joy for the eyes and the soul, all this and more are within a short (but lovely) journey. Total respect for the ethos of this community. Highly recommended

I really enjoy staying Henbant, it is set within a landscape that calms the soul and feeds the spirit. There are various areas to explore and enjoy being apart of something that actually is a positive force for good in the environment. I can highly recommend this site for anyone who enjoys camping.

Camped for four nights. First two were perfect with a cracking real fire all to ourselves at night under the stars, fresh coffee in the covered barn in the morning and inspiring views of sea and mountains and bright yellow gorse blossoms (April). Second two nights I was on my own and the weather turned gale force winds with heavy rain and hail, but there are plenty of sheltered camping spots surrounded by gorse bushes, so even when some gear took off in the wind it was caught by the bushes and easily rescued. I found a cosy chair in the barn during one of the storms and read from their amazing book collections with the farm cat snuggled up on my knees. Peaceful and restorative for two nights and invigorating for the last two nights. Well built compost toilets with sink and tap and a covered washing up hut with sink and tap made a semi wild camping experience comfortable. Waterproofs are essential when camping in early spring and many layers at night.

Weekend Trip to Felin Uchaf Meadow Camping
This place is so unbelievably whimsical. we stayed in the roundhouse bunkhouse and it was just perfect - even through storm Dave. We woke up to the sounds of animals and the stream just outside our patio each morning and it couldn’t have been any better. The volunteers at Felin Uchaf are just amazing - they keep the place so clean and tidy and it is perfect for anyone to visit. The only thing I would add is we could’ve done with a heater/heated blanket etc as there was a storm when we was there - but that is our own problem for becoming unprepared. I will 100% be returning to this site.

Weekend Trip to Felin Uchaf Meadow Camping
Loved everything about this place. Excellent vibes. Great sense of laid back community around (and I'm including the trees and the piglets and the ducks wandering around, alongside the beautiful folks running things and the neighbors and other visitors hanging out at the cafe) while also very much having the solitude we were seeking. My first time in the country, and I felt very at home here. We got great recommendations for beaches to go to as well. I hope to go back before too long.

My friend and I were bonkers enough to camp here on NYE and we already can’t wait to return. Honestly the best NYE we’ve had! Everything about our stay was 5*, from booking to leaving. Sian was an absolute legend, we had the best pitch on the mountain. Absolutely stunning views. Fire pit was awesome, and the sheep were an added bonus! Lovely little collie pup came to say hi too.
Thank you for an epic new years adventure, we will definitely be back!
