Firstly I must say what a lovely person Andy is. A great host, so kind and friendly and couldn’t do enough to ensure we had a fantastic stay. The site is just beautiful! So peaceful and quiet, immaculately kept and all the creature comforts you could need. Super clean facilities and very well stocked. The fishing in the river that runs through the site was amazing! I caught 4 pike in just a few hours on simple jig head tactics. We had such a good time that we extended the stay by an extra 3 days!! Thank you Andy for your hospitality, absolutely first class and we can’t wait to come back!

Oh my goodness. This site was simply magical. We were blessed with beautiful weather, but I’m sure no amount of rain could take away from this beautiful place. Pridie clearly loves and cares for her land. The pitches are large and well laid out, maximising privacy, it was quiet when we were there but I imagine it never feels “busy.” A fire pit is a great addition and the wood bundle was brilliant value for money. The composting loos were fab, the shower facilities basic but clean and hot! Washing facilities were great with eco-friendly washing up liquid provided. Plugs with USB in the Byre (where washing facilities are) for charging your tech (but hardly any signal - bliss.) We missed Pridie’s walk but overheard a bit of one and chatting with her she is clearly extremely knowledgeable about the land she cares for and I would definitely sign up for a walk next time we go. So many beautiful walks on your doorstep, with helpful walks highlighted in the Byre for you to explore, which was really helpful and led to us discovering some stunning walks nearby. This will be one of the very rare sites which we will revisit.

Beautiful, peaceful campsite with lovely hosts and great location-walking distance to Pembroke through a pretty woodland. Facilities were immaculate and the shower was hot and powerful. A lovely communal area with a fridge, plug sockets, seating and firepit. We absolutely loved it here!

Weekend Trip to Riverside Restful Relaxing Campsite

We really enjoyed our stay. Andy was very friendly and helpful, even to the point of rescuing us when our car broke down! Lovely riverside pitch where we saw lots of birds, including a kingfisher and a heron. Very peaceful, would definitely stay again.

Our stay in Bluebird exceeded our expectations! The bus is fantastic and an incredible first glamping experience for our 2year old & 6year old boys! The bus was clean, comfortable and unique and the outdoor space was lovely, the boys loved toasting marshmallows in the firepit. Becky and John were wonderful hosts, friendly and welcoming & it’s clear they have put a lot of love into the whole site. Highly recommend if you are looking for a quirky glamping experience with your family!

The site was beautifully clean and well set up. Becky was so welcoming and helpful -she understood that my dog can be reactive and made sure we were able to be at a distance from other campers (he liked Becky!) There are plenty of water points, and dog bins. Shower and toilet facilities were very clean. .

Beautiful views and incredibly peaceful setting. Pridie was super welcoming and friendly. I can imagine that if the site was busy then the facilities would be in high demand, there is only one shower and it's in the same room as the only flushing toilet (there are two eco loos in the camping fields) but it was no problem when we stayed.

We absolutely love camping on Pridie and James’ land, it was perfect back to basic camping, compost loo and shower/wash room, plenty of space and outstanding views. We will 100% be returning especially when the sauna is built! This campsite was so peaceful and welcoming! The horse and sheep in the meadows next to your pitch are just incredible! Also worth getting a box or two of wood as the fires in the evening just top the day of perfectly! If you want a lovely refreshing weekend I can’t recommend this site enough! We didn’t want to leave!

Weekend Trip to Spring Field Dark Skies Eco Camp

Our first time camping as a family, which was all very ad hoc because we had bought a 2nd hand textbox classic on the same day and were looking where to try it out on the way back to mid Wales. Gorgeous views, and James was so lovely and approachable and we felt very welcome. He even spent time after we left searching for our daughter's lost gingerbread man toy (which has only just turned up safely at home!). The views over the plains and hills were astonishing and the toilets on site really clean and nice to use. Lots of lovely places to walk nearby as well. Thank you James for making our 1st camping so great!

Loved my stay - the view is incredible and worth it for that alone. It was a last minute booking to make the most of the sun but I’ll absolutely be back for a longer stay. It’s a small field with pitches around the perimeter, and as a solo camper I felt extremely safe. James was lovely too!

Very clean facilities & thoughtful provisions for guests to access i.e. kettle / hand soap etc. Pitch was really quiet of an evening & surrounded by woods, though a short walk into town for pub food. Eden's Nook is such a peaceful campsite..full of birds during the day and star viewing at night. The facilities are great, including the barbeque hut and Jane and Neville couldn't have been more helpful. And Jane's breakfast is delicious! We'll be back!

What an amazing place and lovely people. The facilities are up there with the best, toilets showers and washing up area are lovely, also fridge and plug points. Stopped in the campervan for 2 nights, Snack bar on site if you wanted a sandwich,we had coffee, hot chocolate and icecreams yum yum. Short walk into the small town with quite a few shops to look around. Great place if you like walking. Stunning views.

Secluded camping, campfires, coast and country. Head west through Wales to the coast and somewhere by the south east corner of Ireland is the beautiful region of Pembrokeshire. Halfway between the smallest cathedral city in the realm and the site of the last invasion of Britain by their Gallic neighbours is the idyll of Sir Benfro. Once in Trevine or Trefin, there is a long bumpy lane with no tarmac. Watch that sat nav go into the blue, and you too can be Ar y Mwny. Make your camp nestled on a gentle hillside, with panoramic views of the sea and countryside. Located just about as far away from any roads as its possible to get in this part of Pembrokeshire, yet still only a short walk to the coast via footpaths. Being situated amongst several hundred acres of farmland, we not only have inspirational views but also the blessing of unobstructed sunrises and sunsets, followed by a wide open starscape. Its possible to take the wildlife for granted, but across the seasons we can delight in the bird flocks, and casually greet the resident buzzards and foxes and the family of Jac y Do that have raised their young here over several decades. And now, the little birds are managing to flourish too. We live here in harmony, and are thankful for the space. Forget that clock. As you'd expect from a site with such a name, there's a whole lot of space in which to relax and explore at 5 Acres, a large grassy site in the Somerset Levels. Kids and dogs are both welcome on site here, and there's plenty of scope for them to run about and play games safely away from barbecues and campfires (which are also permitted to keep you warm and fed in the evenings). Facilities on site include firepits, a toilet and shower block and outdoor sinks with mains water. Dogs must be kept on leads at all time. We class ourselves as a quite site so no amplified music. Mains hook ups are 6Amp max rated. Pitches are approximately 16m x 20m. The flag, firepit and pitch number line up in the centre of your pitch. The surrounding Somerset Levels aren’t just out in the sticks – they also produce them. Willow cane has been cultivated the traditional way in this part of the county for hundreds of years and can be seen growing within a mile of 5 Acres. The Levels are also a wildlife haven, making them an all-round top choice for country walks along the many trails nearby. And while this may be a rural retreat, it's also one that's easy to get to as it's just off the A378 (no winding country lanes to negotiate for this one…) Taunton town centre, with its wide range of shops and supermarkets, is a 15-minute drive away. The closest pub and coffee shop are five minutes away by road.

Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. The River Brue runs alongside the campsite with damsel flies fluttering by and kingfishers darting back and forth. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. It’s ideal for doing some day trips nearby, then lighting the BBQ and playing Frisbee (games box you are most welcome to use). Shower and toilet, drinking water, washing-up sink in garden kitchenette. Our big sister site is just 4 miles away, and the café bar at 'Wall Eden Farm' serves fantastic coffee, cake, and family-made Somerset cider. If looking for classic countryside pub meal The Duck at Burtle and The Bird at Westhay are local favourites, be sure to book! Burnham on Sea close by has great fish and chips, a sandy beach, a pier and promenade if you like salty fingers and sandy toes.
