Ffynnonwen is the perfect spot to reconnect with nature and nourish your soul. We're a quiet site with dark skies and campfires, so you can relax in peace and tranquillity whilst watching the butterflies or stargazing at night.
We're a tiny camping and glamping site with just 5 camping pitches, a traditional Mongolian Yurt and 2 bell tents. Our pitches are all surrounded by flowering grasses and wild flowers and each have their own sunken fire pit. You can explore the winding paths where you might happen upon a hammock for an afternoon snooze or even some fairies (if you tiptoe!)...
We have compost toilets, a shower with unlimited hot water and a shared fridge and freezer. The camping area is car free after set up.
We're just 3 miles from the beautiful Ceredigion beaches and some great walks along the Wales Coastal path.
We can't wait to share our little corner of Wales with you!

Gwersyllfa Glyndŵr Campsite is a small, peaceful, family run and adult only site for walkers and cyclists. Located within walking distance of the historical market town of Machynlleth, we're a great base for exploring all that rural Mid West Wales has to offer. We're on the Glyndŵr National Walking Trail and the Wales Coast Path. There are many cycling trails of all levels nearby - from the Lon Las and Dyfi Bike Park to Ystwyth and Elan Trails.
A short bus ride from us are the Snowdonia National Park, Cader Idris and beautiful beaches of Cardigan Bay.
Our guests love the outdoors but like a little relaxation at the end of a day's activities, so we offer a some home comforts in the communal camping facilities barn which has a kitchenette with fridge, kettle, microwave and washing up area as well as an indoor seating area on the mezzanine level. Hot showers and toilets are available in the wet rooms also situated in the barn. You can unwind under the stars in the communal campfire area next to the camping field.
There's an outdoor sink on the camping field for cleaning muddy gear and a place to clean your bike if needed.
The nearby town offers independent shops, an art gallery and historical buildings. There are plenty of places to eat and drink, grocery shops and a petrol station where you can top up on supplies.
You'll get the best of both worlds at this secluded campsite which overlooks the Dyfi Valley's stunning scenery whilst being within stone's throw of local amenities.

Lovely, well appointed camp! Great facilities and hidden gems to discover once you are there! Pizzas are delicious and a truly magical spot looking towards the Priselli hills. Spa was delightful, pigs are friendly and the hay bale barn was a big hit with the kids! Highly recommend.

Lovely chilled out campsite with clean facilities and a lovely unspoilt meadow and stream to play in. Super relaxing and flexible with checking out so we were able to leave the tent to dry in the sun before packing away. Great location, in east distance of the black mountains and red kite feeding centre (epic!)

We loved camping at Elizabeth's site. It was located in a quiet and remote location, and the campsite was not busy. There is loads of land to wonder around, and the views are beautiful. The view of the stars at night was spectacular. Toilets, showers and facilities were very clean. There was also access to a kettle, fridge and microwave if needed. Thank you for a wonderful two night stay - I would have loved to have been able to stay longer!

Elizabeth's campsite was such a great find. It is in a beautiful, tranquil setting with lush, flat grass pitches. The washroom and kitchen facilities are excellent, very clean and plenty of hot water. If we come to the Machynlleth Music and Art festival again next year we will definitely use this site again. Please be aware that the single track up to the farm campsite is uphill, narrow quite windy and not well signposted, probably best navigated first time in daylight, however the drive up is well worth it.

Beautiful little campsite in a tucked away location. They've done great work to create a small and very clean facilities area. The path up the hill (part of the Glyndwr way) is a great walk, with views of Machynlleth and surrounds, perfect for an evening stroll to watch the sun go down (weather permitting). Loved staying here.

Beautiful view from the lovely green pitch. The barn is converted to a kitchen, toilets and showers, and sitting areas. Such a great idea for walkers and cyclists! Note that it’s a steep climb from Mach so bring your own food and save a bit of energy for the uphill. Kind owners who have gone the extra mile to make sure their guests are comfortable. And a barn with electric outlet for e-bikes. Superb spot.

Great care is given to make sure people can make the most of their stay. Great showers, a relaxing sitting area if the weather was bad, a kettle and microwave as well as a car free flat field with amazing views. Elizabeth welcomed us and helped us feel the welsh history beneath our feet!
