The campsite is on the edge of a village and next door to a great pub. The village boasts a second pub, a restaurant and a well stocked shop and Post Office all within walking distance. There’s a great bus network with regular buses going to all parts of Herefordshire and into Wales with a bus stop by the pub.
Each accommodation yurt is solar powered and has its own timber framed and canvas field kitchen, a bathroom cabin with a modern compost loo and its own private deck with a shared shower block centrally located between the four yurts.
Pets are welcome and the five acre meadow is securely fenced all around

Willey Lane Farm is a post medieval farmstead situated in a secluded location in the hills of north Herefordshire between the village of Lingen and the Welsh border town of Presteigne, the former County town of Radnorshire, in the Welsh Marches. The farm is predominately permanent pasture (usually grazed by sheep) with a significant area of ancient semi-natural woodland, a small area of lavender and a quiet seasonal micro campsite (2 pitches only in a 1.4 acre orchard) with superb views to the east.
Willey Lane Yurts now has two 16ft diameter yurts, Violet and Lavender, each of which has a private bathroom and a private washing up room.
Each yurt is equipped with a king sized bed with side lights, two chests of drawers, a two ring gas hob with saucepans and a frying pan, a food storage cupboard, a clothes rack, a table and benches and a wood burning stove.
Violet has, in addition, two mattresses suitable for children.
All bedding and towels are included in the price.
Outside there is a dining table and chairs, sun loungers and a firepit.
There is easy access to Ludlow (medieval market town), Hay-on-Wye (the town of books), Leominster (medieval town) , The Black & White Village Trail (old oak timber framed houses), Elan Valley Dams (Birmingham's water supply), Offa’s Dyke Centre (in Kington, a medieval market town), Spaceguard Centre (a working observatory monitoring near earth objects), Wapley Hill Fort (an iron age hill fort), etc.

The Yurt has a beautiful glow of an evening when the log burner is roaring, candles lit and a bottle of wine opened. You can enjoy a spot of stargazing through the starlight panel, really making for that romantic getaway.
Your private outdoor kitchen is located perfectly next to the yurt making it just a few paces from the bed to put the kettle on. The kitchen is fully equipped for what ever meals you might end up cooking, along with a small supply of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, salt, pepper and oil. A small cool box is supplied with ice packs, there's also a two ring gas hob and washing up sink.
Drinking water will be supplied separately in bottles.
The Yurt and kitchen area have a fence surrounding them, giving you that piece of mind if you have your furry friend with you. You also have access to the surrounding field so your pooch can really stretch their legs.
The outdoor (flushing) toilet and shower shack will be used by you only. We only have one yurt onsite meaning that you have the whole glamping field and amenities to yourself.
There are no mains electricity in the glamping field but there are plenty of solar and battery powered lights at hand to help you navigate in the dark and to set the mood of an evening. There will also be a power bank available in the yurt which has enough power to charge phones or tablets 5 times.
There isn't wifi available in the glamping area but phone signal is great including access to 4G. So get those programmes and films pre downloaded.
You will be supplied with your first basket of logs free of charge, further baskets can be purchased onsite at a small additional cost. These logs can be used for both the log burner and firepit.
We have free range poultry on the farm so don't be surprised if they give you a visit in the glamping field. There is always an abundance of fresh chicken and duck eggs along with other farm delights, available from the corner unit shop.

Weekend Trip to Sunbank Accommodation, Llangollen
A wonderful, cosy space with great views! The directions were easy enough and quite straightforward to access the Yurt. The facilities were clean and well organised. We especially appreciated the electric blanket provided but with the log burner on, it was comfortably warm inside! The reading books and board game was a nice touch, too. I would highly recommend.
A few suggestions: Some light directly outside of the Yurt would be helpful as it got quite dark and was hard to locate the door handle at times.

Lovely place. Clean facilities and powerful hot showers. Karen was helpful.
Unfortunately, our last night there (when we had an early start the next day) was a bit noisy as the red kite yurt is located between the communal lodge, the main toilet block and there was a tent full of noisy teenagers nearby. Maybe a noise curfew is needed at a certain time?

We had a wonderful family weekend in Little Owl. The yurt was very comfortable and there was everything we could need nearby in the kitchen and toilet/shower block. We all enjoyed exploring the woods then relaxing in the hammock and roasting marshmallows over a campfire. We had two great day trips, canoeing on the Wye and hiring bikes in the Forest of Dean. Such a beautiful area, would definitely recommend!

We had a great few days at Heart of the Wye. Ann and Sam are fantastic hosts, from greeting us with a glass of prosecco and giving us a tour to being around if we needed anything. Toilet, showers and the well equipped kitchen were spotless. Our yurt was really comfortable, we used the bbq for breakfast and evening meals and had a fire both nights. We left feeling super relaxed and happy we had found a lovely place to return to. Thank you Jackie and Al. X

The yurt was beautiful, it felt spacious inside. Care has been given to zoning the space to segregate children and adults sleeping areas. The garden area is incredibly generous outside with a large lawn area and a big decking area. Lovely bathroom with a delightful shower. The hot tub takes effort but was worth the time spent lighting the fire.

Well equipped and in a beautiful setting, it even had wild deer roaming around the grounds which was very special to see. We took a trip to Barmouth which was close by and a hike up to Arthog waterfalls.

Weekend Trip to Heart Of The Wye
A perfect last minute weekend away, after a longer than expected drive due to traffic we was welcomed with a glass of fizz & gorgeous hospitality! A full tour of the site & yurt, with all the things you could possibly need for the weekend, they really have thought of everything like wool blankets for sitting around the fire, umbrella, lanterns & fresh coffee! Lovely hot outdoor showers & modern communal kitchen again with everything you need so no need to over pack! Close to hay on wye (approx 10min drive). Weekend Trip to Bronfelen Yurt
The location and yurt were absolutely fantastic. The decor and attention to detail is superb. Everything you could need was thought of and provided for. Toni is super friendly and helpful.
I would 100% recommend staying there.

This is without doubt one of the best places we have stayed! We have been in so many types of accommodation from pods, huts, cabins, tepees, tents, caravans, the works but this had all the fine touches that made it a really amazing place to stay. Everything had been thought of and it is all beautifully done so you don’t have to worry just pack your bags and a towel and you’re good to go.
The setting is stunning with the surrounding fields and hills. There is plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the tranquility, even sun loungers for the nice weather. Inside the hut, there is plenty of space to sit, eat and enjoy the comforts of a warm bed (the heated blanket is a brilliant idea and definitely needed for the colder evenings). There is a tv and sockets provided but we loved the added touch of board games and books so we could completely switch off from the world. The kitchen is fully equipped with kettle, toaster, stove, microwave and all the utensils and the bathroom was everything you need. The owners are lovely and extremely welcoming, showing us around it all and ensuring we had everything we needed.
Handy tip take some fire wood or coal as it does get chilly however we did get by with just the heated blanket and just a note it’s a bit of a hill to get in but perfectly manageable even in a small car.
If you’re thinking of booking definitely do you won’t be disappointed!

Weekend Trip to Sunbank Accommodation, Llangollen
Sunbank yurt
We had a lovely time, Sarah provided coal and wood and once the fire got going it was warm & cozy inside. Electric blanket, hot water bottles & blankets provided so, we didn’t feel cold at all. The bathroom is very simple, the loo is a porta potti. It was clean though! Easy to contact the host & lots of information given in the welcome document. The kitchen is outside, fridge available & there is everything you may need. Overall we had a lovely trip away.
The only thing we would mention is that we wish there was some sort of lighting directly outside the yurt as there are some steps to get to the kitchen / bathroom & you couldn’t see if you sat outside at night time, we needed to keep a torch on.
