Theres lots of wildlife here from deer to Canadian geese. We have some stone fire pits for our guests to use foc! We have a games room and lots of children swings and activities.

If you choose you can compliment your stay with an indulgent shopping trip to Bicester Village premium outlet (11m) or Blenheim Palace (8m) with all its history and events on offer. Jeremy Clarksons Diddly squat farm (21m) and his new public house have also become popular with our guests. If walking or running is more your focus then why not explore the beautiful RSPB Otmoor bird reserve, a haven for wildlife with many visitor trials to enjoy, it’s merely a short walk away. Whatever your visit has in store our cosy pub, The Abingdon Arms, is waiting only 100metres walk away, offering fine ales and fine dining or perhaps just a take away pizza.

My friend and I were bonkers enough to camp here on NYE and we already can’t wait to return. Honestly the best NYE we’ve had! Everything about our stay was 5*, from booking to leaving. Sian was an absolute legend, we had the best pitch on the mountain. Absolutely stunning views. Fire pit was awesome, and the sheep were an added bonus! Lovely little collie pup came to say hi too.
Thank you for an epic new years adventure, we will definitely be back!

Absolutely loved it , always wanted to try wild camping without being to wild if that makes sense, beautiful views all round, rugged scenery, great pitches, was a bit wet and blustery when I went but it was an amazing site and yes a 4x4 is recommended, hope to be back very soon.

We loved camping on the hill top! There was other campers present but quite far away so we go our own privacy & wild camp experience. The hills up to the camp are not suitable for a typical car but we drove to where we could and carried our bags up which wasn’t too much of a fuss. We were greeted by a man who provided us fire wood & the fire pit. He retired later to check if we needed anymore too. Very friendly and accommodating. We were also accompanied by the cutest border collie named moss who was the cutest pup ever. The clear night stars were amazing, witnessed 4 shooting stars and woke up to the most beautiful sunrise. Definitely recommend ✨

When we first arrived we phoned Llŷr for our Sherpa service answered straight away and had someone there in 3 minutes we were shown all the campsites available on the land we were at the top had a beautiful view we couldn’t get enough off and told if we needed anything to pop a phone call were 100% coming back sometime in the near future 10/10 would recommend

My partner and I spent two nights camping this week at Cuckoo Farm in our campervan. What can I say. It was perfect. Roland was very welcoming and the whole vibe was chilled and relaxed. We ended up camping up the top with an amazing view as we went for a grass pitch without hookup, though the hookup pitches were also lovely; the whole field is beautiful with different plus points wherever you chose; riverside with trees, or friendly sheep and views! You can just go wherever you like. The facilities were spotless, and the organic farm reared pork chops we purchased from the handy shop were delicious. The directions were spot on. Thanks so much, we can’t wait to come back.

Absolutely beautiful site which was made even more special with Beryl. We loved the wildlife areas and the little paths to find games and the stream. We had a family game of rounders and watched the sunset from the bath 💖 we will certainly be coming back!

It was a beautiful site, with lovely views for the sunset and sunrise, and it felt like we had it all to ourselves which was amazing. Even though there were other people pitched around, everyone had their own space hidden away on the hill. Jess was helpful getting us set up too. Thank you!

Best place we have stayed!! So relaxing and peaceful, lots of rabbits and bird to watch. The pitch was out of this world. We took our reactive dog and it was the best place we could of brought him so dog friendly. The host is so lovely and kind also very helpful if need will definitely be rebooking.

Great site, very quiet and perfect for what we wanted. Semi wild camping with good access to the mountains. Llyr was very helpful and the site is clean and has some great pitches. Recommend the pitch just above the the two ponds with the wood line just behind you. 4x4 needed.

Wagtails and dippers flit across the clear, running water of the River Dove and limestone peeks through the surrounding green hills. The local area has plenty of decent campsites but, as always, only the very best make the cut for the Hipcamp shortlist.
