We had a wonderfully peaceful few days at Swallow farm. Brilliant off grid facilities. Lovely shaded spot so no early mornings due to tent getting too hot. The table and sink area bring a little bit of luxury and we loved hunting for campfire sticks in the woods.
Not hot water but if you leave a metal bucket of water in the sun it gets to a nice temperature for a cool bucket shower.

Beautiful peaceful site with a wood on one side and lake on the other. Two compostable toilets and gas showers at the top of the field, apart from that it's just you and nature, bliss

Loved our stay at Nixon farm. Out kids said it was the best camping trip they've had. Spent ages wandering about in the forest and walks to the lake. Lots to do in the area

The campsite was really easy to find and had gorgeous views. It was nice and spacious so we didn’t on top of other families. It was very windy but would be the time of year. The toilets and shower block is clean and a nice washing up facility for dishes. There are fridges available to use and taps near the non electric pitches too. We also used a fire pit which was great to end our visit. We would like to come back as it’s close to lots of great hikes and bike parks!

Brilliant place to camp for a big group. Nice and out of the way in the forest and woke up to birdsong every morning! Compost toilets were clean and pleasant. Really helpful to have a covering with a big table and sink too! Hosts were great, greeted us as we arrived and also had some extra info on local area. Would definitely recommend!

A lovely stay at Noxon Farm - we had the place to ourselves! They've done a lovely job with the outdoor toilets, showers & sinks - a truly wholesome camping experience. I wish we were able to have spent more time on the site exploring but we had committed to plans externally so didn't have time to

The field was lovely, quiet and peaceful and surrounded by trees, so sunny in the day but shady from around 6pm.
The facilities were great, compost loos and gas showers, all really clean and well maintained. Had a great walk to the Forest of Dean and found the Miners pub (about a 15/20 min walk away).
