We absolutely loved our first stay campervanning at The Duchess’s Meadow. The location and views were beautiful, and the directions nice and clear. In fact, all the detail provided on the "about" page is 100% spot on, especially "you’ll experience the best of both worlds — the calm of the countryside and the charm of a historic spa town, all from the comfort of your motorhome." It really is the most perfect location, set in the woodlands for countryside walks, and just a short (10 mins) walk into Buxton. With electric and water hookup too as an added bonus, not to mention the tawny owls! We had the place to ourselves but there is plenty of space available for 2 campervans / MHs at the same time. Can't wait to return and hopefully stay longer next time! Thank you to Nick & Rachel.

This was my third visit this year and we pitched up in a different location to before. The choice of where you want to pitch up is endless and every area of the pitch gives you complete privacy with stunning views. If you have a dog then this pitch is perfect for them to enjoy open space. Peter and Celia are amazing hosts with great communication. The pitch is really easy to access and find, we were fine with our 7m camper. I highly recommend this Hipcamp.

If you like the sound of having farm shops and ice cream farms nearby, as well as access to lots of walking and cycling trails, Stretton House Campsite should be a fine pick for you. It has a strict no noise policy after 10pm, meaning that you should get a peaceful night's sleep too. This site is in the grounds of the 400-year-old Stretton House surrounded by the Cheshire countryside with handy transport links nearby and outdoor activities in no short supply… that includes things like alpaca walking, golf or Manley Mere’s watersports haven (a 20-minute drive away for the latter). For food, there’s a farm shop just two minutes’ walk away from the site where you’ll be able to get your hands on local produce. Pubs aren’t far away either – there is one pub five minutes' walk away, and another 15 minutes' walk away. Festival goers are very welcome, and the Creamfields Festival site is five minutes’ drive away. Please respect the quiet hours (no noise is permitted after 10pm) and environment, as the owners' home is on the grounds (and stick to the field's facilities only). No waste accepted onsite. All rubbish must be taken home at the end of your stay.

Our beautiful home is a glamping and camping site with its own gorgeous fishing lake on the outskirts of the village of Llandyfan. You can find us to the west of the Brecon Beacons or Bannau Brycheiniog National Park. Llandyfan Campsite has been lovingly re-established in early 2024 by Andy and Jo. Since taking ownership, we have rolled up our sleeves and got stuck into restoring it to its former glory and will soon be back to being a fully operational slice of Welsh heaven. Our first focus has been the fishing lake which we opened in March. The campsite followed in May. We are currently working on electric hook ups and other improvements. We have chickens on site that roam free during the day. They are friendly and like to wander around the tents to say hello to our guests! We would like everyone who visits to have a great time and a relaxing break. Whilst here please be considerate towards others, to their property, and while using the facilities. If you have any concerns, please let us know. We have brought out a few rules from our T&Cs and we kindly ask that you have a read through before your stay. Litter: You must pick up your litter. Please either take it with you or recycle it appropriately in the bins onsite. There are bins around the campsite, please recycle where possible. Pitches to be left as you found them. Noise: Be respectful and consider your neighbours. Keep noise to a minimum after 10pm and before 8am in the morning. No loud music is to be played at any time. Children: Children must be supervised at all times around the campsite and can play within the pitch space allocated to you. At quiet times, it may be possible for children to use vacant pitches for play but this cannot be guaranteed. The amenity block and associated facilities are not to be used as a play area. Dogs: Must not to be left unattended. Are to be kept on leads at all times whilst on the campsite. We are a small basic 7 acre campsite in the Shropshire hills between the long mynd and the stipperstones great for wild camping. So offers great walks and mountain biking. Carding Mill Valley is just a short drive which is great place for exploring and playing in the streams or wild swimming in the reservoir. It is a simple site with toilets showers and we have a canteen with a kettle, fridge, microwave, tables and chairs, sink area and power. The campsite is on the side of a hill but there are pleanty of flat areas to pitch up. The campsite has lovely views of the surrounding area. We do allow fire's and can supply fire pits and wood. We have an undercover area which can be used as cover from rain, this area also has a pool table. We allow tents, caravans, motor homes, although dont have electric hookups. We can allow group bookings. We use the site for a festival once a year and the stage is a permanent structure as is the bar and medic cabins, these will not affect your stay in anyway just making you aware they are there.
