We will definitely be visiting again, lovely little campsite surrounded by stunning scenery and wildlife. Unfortunately didn't get to cross paths woth David as we was too busy exploring the area, but David was always a phone call away if we needed him, which is all we could ask for.

Beautiful camping spot in the Black Mountains. Loved the separate pitches in the meadow, with plenty of space for the kids to run around. The swing and the stream were a hit for the kids, and lovely walks from the campsite. The facilities were basic, but fine for our needs and perfectly clean. Thank you for sharing your lovely farm.

Pridie and James Thank you. What a beautiful campsite you have built. So much space, privacy and a wonderful experience from start to finish. So many other campsites would have crammed in extra pitches, but there were a max of 6 pitches in a whole field. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. Well done - you are exactly the sort of site that "coolcamping", when it started, was all about - off the beaten track, unspoilt and run by genuine, lovely people. J&S.

Weekend Trip to Chrome Hill campers

Absolutely gorgeous location! Right next to Chrome hill, also know as Dragons back and a short drive to other greats hikes in the peaks such as Mam Tor. It’s a small site which only has 5 pitches for campers/ motorhomes or roof tents. Small but plenty of spec either side of your pitch and at the back so you have space for an awning/ gazebo set up. There is also a lovely little enclosed area with a picnic bench for everyone to use. Only one toilet but plenty for the fact there are only 5 pitches, it was lovely and clean with a hot water shower. There was also a little washing up area outside to clean your dishes and a tap for filling drinking water! Much more than I expected from such a small site. 100% we will be back as it’s a perfect location for hikes and a gorgeous stay! The hosts were also super friendly and helpful before and during our stay! Thank you again ☺️✨ Oh and it’s dog friendly, what more could you want.

A perfect few days. Very kind and friendly hosts. Wonderful walking, perfect weather, perfect view, the beautifully clean showers and toilets, freezer for freezy blocks, my kind of heaven. Looking forward to the Bala light railway next time. I will be back. Thank you.

Absolutely lovely little site, not too far from lake vyrnwy and the hosts were brilliant. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to camp near lake vyrnwy

3 nights at Torrent Walk Campsite and Bunkhouse

It was a beautiful setting. The convenience of the supermarket and Starbucks just up the lane were very handy. And we braved it walking to Dolgellau with 1 pram, 2 toddlers and no pavement - not for the faint hearted!!

2 nights at Celtic Woodland Holidays

We stayed in Epynt and had a lovely couple of days. It was basic but very comfortable and had everything we needed. Double bed was very comfortable and the kids liked staying on the bunkbeds. The view from the balcony was beautiful, especially at sun set. We found it warm enough so didn’t need to use the log burner. The communal kitchen was great and the games room was a very welcome addition.
