David was an amazing host, extremely helpful and gave excellent advice. Facilities are not luxurious but erfectly adequate and what you want from a remotr campsite. Even though the wind blew hard we were well protected.

David was a super friendly host and the site was in a beautiful setting. Nothing was too much trouble, and there was plenty of space on the pitches. Location wise, you couldn’t ask for anything better. You could have been in the middle of nowhere, but Wimborne is a 20 minute walk away!

Lovely Stay in the Meadow, very kind and friendly staff, and the fact that they help you move your things up the hill is lovely. Only issue was that the toilets didn’t have loo roll during our stay but we had brought our own anyway so this wasn’t really a problem. The Meadow is lovely but without much shade, so maybe bring something to use for shade if you mind that - fantastic location for kayaking etc, and although we didn’t stay in one as we have a tent the yurts they also have on site looked amazing too 😊

Great wee semi-wild campsite. Converted horse boxes for composting toilets and showers, fire pits, and friendly staff- Jasper was really welcoming and took time to talk us through the site. It’s also minutes walk away from a stunning river which provided the perfect wake up dip

Mooie kleine camping op loopafstand van het strand. Wij stonden op plek 7. Heerlijk rustig, geen verkeer of vliegtuigen te horen. De omgeving is een landschap met veel smalle weggetjes met hoge hagen, wandelen kan heel goed langs de kust. Goede pub waar je kunt eten op 7 min rijafstand. Gastvrouw is vriendelijk, kinderen mogen in de tunnelkas spelen. Douche en wc is basic zoals we gewend zijn in Engeland maar prima.

A lovely back to nature campsite in an idyllic location. David and the team offer a warm, friendly and considerate welcome and are on hand for any help or guidance you might need. I was disappointed when we arrived to be told we couldn't drive up to the pitch but instead the team took our gear up to site in a jeep for us. Actually once on our pitch it was a big plus as it meant we never had to worry about vehicles coming on and off site. Toilets and showers are basic and unlit so take a torch and your loo roll. There is a basic hub area with fridge and freezer space and a kettle and a small sheltered outdoor seating area. Firepits and wood available on request - have plenty of water with you just in case! Wimborne is a delightful 20 minute riverside walk away and a fabulous little town with all the shops and facilities you could wish for. We'll be back I am sure.

David and Jasper went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and taken care off. The campsite is near town, just a 20 minutes walk along the river. The facilities at the campsite are primitive, but adequate and clean. Loved the hot showers! We stayed in a yurt and that was very comfortable and very well equipped. Our kids (and the other kids at the campsite) spent most of the time in and around the tree with a swing, so nice! They called it the best campsite ever! Hope to come back one day!

6 nights at Camp De Lank Cornwall

Went here for our first time camping and it was perfect! We didn’t spend much time at the campsite but the facilities were great (set the bar high for future campsites!) and it’s located so well for seeing nearly all of Cornwall. It’s a small campsite but we got a nice quiet spot at the end next to the tipis which weren’t being used. Would definitely go back ☺️

We loved it. The meadow is beautiful and during our week in May we awoke to the sound of cookoos every morning - joy. We were in the smaller Yurt which was really warm and comfortable. David was really available and bought us wood for the fire when we needed. Classic camping and a wonderful escape from the city! Thanks David.

Weekend Trip to Camp De Lank Cornwall

This was everything we wanted from this trip, pretty central for the things we wanted to do. The site was well maintained and the facilities were very clean and well stocked with consumables. The water was always hot and drinking water on site was great. We would definitely stay there again.
